Oldest Living Person?

    This woman in Cleveland is 119 years old, as recognized by the U.S. government, but she cannot enter the Guinness Book without a birth certificate, which was denied to African-Americans in Mississippi during the 19th (yes 19th) century.

    I saw this earlier. What a shame.

    I love hearing about these older people, especially having a father in his 80s.

    That's wonderful...if it's true. She does not look 100, let alone 119.:confused:
    Hmmm. She looks to be in her late 80s. Regardless, she is definitely not the oldest person in the world because there are a people in the 120ish range, living today.

    Saw this a few days ago.

    She's a black person born in 1892 Mississippi and she's survived all this time?



    Impressive.
