the game is supposedly about zombies and laying waste to them, but the box got censored anyway. not sure if it was due to race or just decency, since this game's box will be seen by kids in stores. (note, this is the censored North American version...if other versions aren't censored, it's probably due to race then)

 

It's only the tree that would make it insensitive, if he was hung from something else, it wouldn't have a racial connotation.

 

i guess..the tree looks like an image out of an old movie, where they were the only things readily available for lynch mobs to use

plus people are asking why would they hang a zombie to begin with...

I didn't think the cover was racist or anything either

the game is about butchering zombies and carnage, so the cover reflects the mayhem

 

yup i need to get em for pc once i get my rig sorted, played them on 360 but valve games are best played on pc personaly :wink:, i remember the whole resident evil 5 controversy
