All religions have some racist origins, regardless. The question is for you...are you an atheist or hold a belief in an Abrahamic faith? If you answer the latter, then you're part of that racist religious organization.

I KNOW there is a God....I just don't believe in religion.

Flaming...you CAN'T KNOW there's a God. Know why? It's called personal conviction based on faith. And faith lacks the ability of knowing. You're more than welcome to BELIEVE that there's a God. But there's NO EVIDENCE to point out there is one.

You write from a very grounded and rational perspective, Big Brother. Tis so refreshing to hear a viewpoint that speaks out against bigotry and irrational hatred. (Hmm, and we've yet to develop a word that specifically refers to 'religionism'!)

I would venture to say that extremism and hate-mongering fundamentalism from all types of religions causes trauma and grief worldwide, just as more moderate proponents of most religions tend to put forth a more peaceful and harmonious way of being.

Having dated both Muslims and Christians, I find that its more about shared values and beliefs than it is about religion.

Quite frankly, I don't want to date someone who is forcing anything down my throat...

    *wry grin*

It's impossible for you to have "dated a muslim". You may have just fabricated that to drive your point home so I understand.

    And :(

ever been attacked in a mosque and had no one help you?
had the women tell you that i should let my husband beat me because all men beat thier wifes, that its in the quran ( which it is but in there it says not to hit em with more force than a stick used to clean teeth ) and that he will calm down quicker than if i try to get away?

anyway my post was in response to mr reversed about how the previous poster cannot of dated a muslim, just pointing out its possible she has done

he ENGAGED a six year old.. didn't marry her until proper age

I have heard that Muhammed maried so many girls to give them more status.. for example he married a widow to show other men that that was okeyy, he married that little girl for some reason I don't remember, but he did not have sex with her until they were married, that's a sin..

sadly all the men ive had problems with have had one thing in common, thier religion, i know its a minority but not one person in that mosque helped me, they all allowed him to attack me and my child, they even told police they heard nothing when asked

my ex even used the "its allowed" line in court

Yes, I have met muslims like that too, just as I have met christians like that.. and don't misunderstand me now... I HATE them, absolutely hate them

I hate everyone who try to hide behind some ideology or religion, when something becomes that holy suddenly it is really easy to brain wash people and make them into obedient marionettes

I will tell u, because her ein sweden we had something called the asa-tro, back then women had a lot of power, but the priest came and took it away from us, I don't hate Christianity because of that, it wasn't the religion who did it... it was... MEN (surprise)

    :rolleyes:Now you're just reaching...

You can't prove Mary was 12...you're just deflecting guilt from Mohammad's pedophile ass for some STRANGE reason.

    Believe me...

Your beloved muslims will not show you the same tolerance when their numbers increase.:smt039

You better snap the fuck out of it while you still have a country..

    Or...

You'll be on the outside looking in...on swedish soil.

Keep fuckin' around and it'll happen before you know it...history backs me up.

I think the word you're seeking is "dogmatism". And you're correct. While I often debate to myself whether religion is the cause or culture or perhaps a combination of both, when too much of the nectar being drunk turns into a poison. More often that naught, it's more to do with the reactionary, simpleton mindset that is the spark and what ignites it entirely is when you take that attitde and use religion at it's most dick-centered-most viewpoint and drown yourself in that.

You're correct in a sense that it's not entirely religion. In fact, as you stated in one of your posts, it's pretty much induced by "Le Dick", "Sir Scrotus di Pain", "Phallos, God of Seminal Rain"...whatever you call it, the pattern behind all this would be Master Dickanese doing. Bookworm616 actually commented one time that the pagan, matriarchal religions didn't have a history of violence or dicketry. It was more peaceful. So yes, your hypothesis on the idea of a men's ideology could be worth exploring.
