When you say "gave me her number", was it because you asked for it or did she do it without being prompted?

And where you near Brentwood, CA on the evening of June 12, 1994? Can you provide an alibi?

It could be overly boring if both of you had the same political beliefs

Well politics isn't entertaining and it isn't interesting to learn.
Sitting around talking about it is not gonna change anything, so I choose to not follow politics.

    Even I wouldn't debate politics.....

Politics are complicated and much of the fiscal matters go over my head... But the social issues and strategic alliances & methods to separate us for political gain dont. Good on your ex if shes thinking critically but If I were her, I wouldnt be able to stomach the baggage that comes along with it.

OK, the fact that she is the pursuer is the most important variable to me.

I'd feel her out to see if her views are tolerable, while being mindful that political disagreement is only one of many things that can render a person intolerable. If nothing else, you might get a roll in the hay out of it. See how well those "conservative" principles hold up under pressure.

If Gandhi were a Texas rube who displaced his sexual frustration through obnoxious behavior.

Cant see myself pursuing a conservative, but the fact that she initiated it does make this interesting....The juice might not be worth the squeeze but theres only one way to find out.

    I couldn't do it.

Ok, well, no...I take that back. I could, as long as there were certain topics we were in agreement about.

I have a strict policy never to date someone who is anti-choice. No exceptions. I don't care if its Morris Chestnut himself. I can't do it.

Tea Party members are also a no go. I can handle middle of the road types.

You gonna ask Morris Chestnut his views on abortion before or after a night of pleasure? :smt025

I bet it got heated during the primaries when Hillary was proudly aligning herself with "hard working Americans" :p

    That wasn't the cause because...

...and also, she felt that politics were not important to her personally. So, we never had any heated arguments.

You should have fun with those anti-choice types! You can ALWAYS corner them by showing their follies.

Before! Lol As much as my heart would break if he was anti-choice, I would feel far worse if I slept with him first! Meh.

Well it's a matter of personal vs. political. People can still hold pro-choice views politically because they strongly feel that it's their personal decision and they shouldn't infringe upon their rights. From a personal perspective, he would probably reject the idea of getting an abortion.

Believe me, there are people who are politically pro-choice, yet anti-abortion on a personal level.

It was race vs. gender. Truly the most vitriolic above all. Hahaha.
