There are just some questions you shouldn't ask if you don't wanna hear the answer/truth.
"have i gained weight?" is also one of them - really made NOT my day yesterday - lived and learned.

I don't know the right answer but one thing is apparent; chivalry is dead. So I guess the silver lining is that neither wanted a follow-on date.

I don`t think so my dear, you just have to find them. There are a lot of men everywhere, btw also women, which still place value on a noble and polite behavior, for themselves, but also for people they are in connection with.

I remember, when I was around 15 yrs old,. A friend of mine had sex with a boy around the same age, also in my school. She was riding horses. The next day, he was running around and felt the need to tell everybody that he wasn`t able to have sex with her, because she was stinking like a horse. Truth? I don`t know, I never smelt anything, she was the daughter of a doctor, so I cannot imagine. Necessary? Of course, not.

Truth can be a bitch. I assume it's important to be honest to oneself, less to others. Many facettes come in, different tastes, mentalities, perspectives and life-experiences..

"cook" not "eat" ok. Makes more sense now. Cause people get hungry whether they're on a date or not.

There is four year old child brutally honest and there is finding something good to say while you let them know the meat wasn't so good.

Sounds like you were abrasively brutally honest four year old style. Change your delivery and it will probably go over better while you let her know it wasn't to your liking.

    HUH?

I think we people asked that "have I gained weight question" they KNOW they have gained weight. I don't know why the ask.

Chivalry is alive and well, but don't ask for an honest opinion if your really don't want one.

Word? I don't know I have a four year old and when my four year old expresses his dislike for something he says "Yuck daddy this yucky" or "Dad...can I give it to the dog" I don't know many four year olds that are going to give an honest opinion about the taste, texture and presentation of a spaghetti.

...this means you know some AMAZING four year olds.

    wooooooooooooo

Actually the conversation went like this

    Option 1:
Four your old: THIS IS YUCKY, and it stinks.

    Option 2:
Ymra: "I really don't like it, I think its a bit over cooked on the outside and meat is still red on the inside"

I think my reply is far more mature, to the point, and delivered with a smile and a bit of a smirk.

LOL...this just means you and I know different four year olds.
