    it's true

like everyone's saying, if you dont take care of your property, the value goes down all around that motherfucka

that's why they have associations, that impose sanctions on residents that don't conform to the standards, like keeping your grass cut and dogshit out of the yard

these hood homeboys dont care about that, lol

Lol, what gets me is that you're all assuming this is going to happen just because people have paid a lower price.

None of the stuff on the article said these were bad people, all your assumptions are based on the fact they got it cheaper than usual.

Sounds like you want base prices set for area to keep potential not confirmed undesirables out of your area lol

    Actually, HOAs are the devil.

I think it's fair to have guidelines in communities about not leaving trash out in your front lawn, shoveling by 5pm when it snows, etc... but this business about the type of fence you can have in your backyard, and which trees and shrubs (and how many) you can have in your front yard is absolutely goddamn ri-fuckin-diculous.

dont get mad at pookie if Jeffrey lived above his means and lost his house. Pookie got smart and bought the crib knowing that the value might go up. Thomas, the PASTOR (uuuhhhmmm) and the other uppity negroes need to sit pookie down and explain the dwelling economics and how it is played.

also the uppity negroes need to take lessons from pookie.....the families are doubling up in one house to save money like the latinos.

the uppities can go Golden gurls for a minute until they get on their feet and make some extra ends. fuck that pretty shit for the sake of that dollar ( I would hesitate in doing but it is something to think about)

HAHA, aint that the truth.... I have a friend who lives in a neighborhood that has stated that all curtains MUST be white, facing the street (so they have to line their shit)..Stupid enough, right?
Well, they have a walk in closet facing the street with a small window - they didnt want to spend the money on that little window so stuck a piece of Styrofoam there until they figured out what to do with it.

They got dinged for it!! How on earth someone could see that it was styrofoam from the street is weird, must have had a pair of binoculars, nosy bastards.

On the other hand, if I had an association here, maybe we could get dude down the street to take down the Christmas decorations that they have had up for 2 years now

Ahh it's happening here too, but we are long used to it.
We just don't see the issue anymore.

Every New Build project here has to sell a percentage of the dwellings to either shared ownerships schemes or housing associations.

Round the corner from me there is a beautiful new build area detached double fronted 4 bed homes 2 garages, they went for about 300,000 but obviously those on shared ownership did not pay that amount, ie they are lower income than there neighbours.
