You bring up the topic of race and people are going to feel hmmm...judge, contrary to popular belief most people are simply not happy with their bodies and they internalize those comments.

it was about women because the thread is "female obesity" no-one has their names mentioned, it's just a dig at women in general...it wears on you.

lol...at too much out right arse kissing comment.

there has been a lot of women bashing, this thread was made because it was getting too much

    http://www.whitewomenblackmen.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15293&highlight=spot+asshole

we (i'm speaking about women in general) get from our weight to us being gold diggers to as we age we're less appealing to we're too young so therefore too young and inexperienced to us being catty to us being too sensitive...just look for it next time & you'll see it. it's not every day, but it's certainly around enough for you to notice it

again...its in the title of the thread. how many chubby chasing, fat women obese women threads do we need & how many have the women started about men...???

honestly it's not...anything that's repetitive is considered bashing

absolutely agree. maybe that's the reason why women don't start up obese men threads etc. because we are aware of these feelings and find it counterproductive to bring up

No one is saying anything negative about women its just a discussion female obesity there's a difference. And like I said before there will be 20 we love ww threads tomorrow
kid. Let me also add talking about obese women isn't talking about all women so you can't call it woman bashing.

I'll won't even say "workout" but how to you wake up one morning, 20, 30, 40lbs over weight and make ZERO change. "Just be happy with who you are"

ok...great wonderful, but if a person knows they NEED to make a change, why not make it. I person will put more energy into their job than their body.

For real for real. I actually see those faux praise threads are far, far, far, more offensive. Its something that I notice coming here. Don't yall feel like a piece of raw meat. (Directed to Tar) Everytime someone posts a "looking for a white women" thread everyone rushes to be the first to tell them "this isn't a dating site" but they get that idea really from the threads created.

...TRUST ME, where it more women in closer proximity to the dude, there would be a LOT of dating...and extra curricular fucking going on too.

cuz eruma FG and TAm would get beat up something terrible. Terrible I tell you.

Ok, Tarshi, you're right. It was a mistake. I tried to correct it by also creating a "male obesity" thread which is still open for replies. I think it would be nice if that thread got some replies.

I didn't think that women (regardless of their size) were so sensitive about the topic, but it's probably just because I'm a little unaware of how exactly the community works and operates here in regard to topics and how things are discussed. I'm just trying to fit in with you people, sorry for creating the bumps in the road, if you know what I mean. At least, where I've been and with discussions about weight/obesity with men and women (ie, health class), no one acted so sensitive about it, they discussed it freely.

If anyone wants to reply in the Male Obesity thread, feel free, it could use some discussion and I agree with the guys, I don't think any guys would get upset over it. But still, regardless of how you feel (if you're a girl or a guy) it's important to discuss because it ties in to possible resource shortages in the future of simple things like food and water, things we need to maintain our ability to live and carry out everyday tasks on this planet.

Here's a positive article about obesity I've found, it states that the rate of increase in obesity in the US is slowing. Perhaps it will peak and then go down in the future. The other tidbit addresses obesity from a scientific/biological perspective, which you'd find to be very informative.
