Listen shorty.... I wouldn't be caught dead riding one of those joints through the hood

    :p

BUT.... I did think about buying a stationary elipitical before I bought my Kadett rowing machine

i didn't say you could borrow it:rolleyes:...fyi, they do make a lift for it so that it can be used in door stationary...that one is way more expensive though with a bike chain and several speeds...this is a new chainless version that was 2000 less so i thought i would start with this one

    The stuff is pricey

I may still get one if I get a ground level apartment or something

i ditched getting an elipitical again and bought a stationary bike, although they do look like total body workers... That's why I like the rower

i went for this because it's a better workout than just riding my bike...i am not much of a runner and it's harder on impact to run...i wanted to be outside and cruising around the neighborhood...i wanted a total body workout that would still be fun

It wasn't too bad since I didn't finance it & I bought an older model that they had a deal on; I've had it for almost 10 years.

I still have/use all this and do yoga but after working out with my trainer friend I added kettlebell and medicine balls to my home equipment. Everyone who comes over to my place get on my 45 degree extender and says oh I love these at the gym. Probably one of my fav purchases.

I have an elliptical and my Wii. :) Since I'm not allowed to do much in the way of exercise, it meets my needs!...and I love Just Dance 1 and 2 for the Wii- great workout!

I wasn't allowed for a long time to do anything after I hurt my stupid back. I'm finally able to do a few things now though.

I have a Wii & the Just Dance stuff looks interesting. Is there something else you have to buy to go with the Wii to do the dancing?

Old school ghetto style: standard weight bench with free weights and barbells and a jump rope. Bike riding with the kids when weather permits it.

No, you just need the Wii remote and the desire to bust a move. :) I've been having an absolute blast.

There are times I crank up the music & dance like a fool for excercise anyway, so that sounds like fun. The only games I own for my Wii are Zelda Twilight Princess, Super Mario Bros & the crap that came with it (I've been waiting for the new Zelda to come out), so I need more stuff to put it to better use.
