Kanye West Tweets About Abortion

Not sure what to make of this, but I'm taking a risk here and posting it on here anyway. I'm not sure how you all will react to what West has said.

 

And condoms cost how much? Simple economics amongst many things, dumbass.

 

West's position on abortion is somewhat unclear. But based on his comments, it's assumed that he could be pro-choice. He's implying in the tweet that abortions just cost too much, so better to come prepared and wear a condom for that moment in time because that MISTAKE can cause your life to turn topsy turvy.

 

I didn't have a lot of respect for Kanye to begin with, his comment about George Bush not liking black people because of Katrina was uncalled for. That one just keeps creating more fuel for racism between blacks and whites, and this comment with the abortion just pisses everyone off who realizes, especially women. He is not a positive image/inspiration for other BMs to look up to.

Agreed West is an idiot but on this case the way I'm readin' it- he sayin' knockin' a chick will cost you some deniro, therefore you better wear a rubber and two duck tape. Basically he is promoting folks to wear condom and that ain't bad.

Kanye is an idiot who regularly overestimates his level of talent, but I appreciate his willingness to say things that make people cringe. Alienating people should always be a subsidiary concern to what you want to say. I also appreciate him finally making an album that I like with My Dark Fantasy.

 

I thought some my get a kick out of this!

 

This goes in my "who the fuck cares?" file. It seems like a PSA for safe sex. I could care less what Mr. West of anyone else thinks of abortion.
