Thanks everyone for the cheering up. It's all good and Naija, 99.9% of the time I feel the way you've described (that which I've bolded). Not that I need to justify my post but I just had a frustrating day yesterday. Like everyone else, I have a lot on my plate and admittedly am a bit of a perfectionist regarding some things. Need to zen out a bit more often lol.

As you already know, the decision to become a medical professional requires more effort than what you've ever poured into anything. Do not sacrifice your vision or the effort you've given up to this point for anything. In the end we are the sum of our decisions and accomplishments, and being in a relationship is not a unique achievement, it's as common (and frequently stale) as the air you breathe.

It would be nice to ask a question and get an honest answer. Like, if you're just trying to fuck me- be straight with me. If you have interest and want to see where it goes, why can't you say that?! I'm a progressive woman- I've done the FWB things before- it's not my thing now, but at least it would give me the option of responding to what you want. I'm not insulted by it. But some people just lie to try to get someone into bed.
