I enjoy Chinese food tremendously and love asian movies, but I am not attracted to Asian men. It's not hard to understand. One is based on something I enjoy while the other is based on preference...simple as that.

 

I know a few people who are like that. And one of them has a funny excuse to boot. This one person, she's from Russia and loves an embraces hip-hop music and black individuals. But she clearly stated that she refuses to date black guys because she see them as "brothers" to her. Plus her preferences tend to lie within the realm "skater guys". Oddly enough, she thinks black skaters are mythical, although there are some prominent ones.

The second person I know, she and I attended the same university in the same field. Loves a great deal of hip hop and underground rap music, but refuses to date black guys because she lacks attraction to them. She's of Croatian descent and has a pretty ghetto attitude too. But never really associate herself with black people at all.

All in all, it's about preference, but their reasoning is ridiculous.

 

So dating white guys isn't like dating her biological "brother"???

How can you lack physical attraction to a race of people? Seriously, that's like saying you don't like movies or music.

Even if I hated white people and their culture with a passion it still wouldn't stop me from being attracted to Scarlett Johansson's looks.


I don't care if you the biggest racist at racist site, there are black girls that he'd be physical attracted to. Your prejiduce minds can't win a fight against your biological nature.

 

I have a lot of African friends. All of them are proud of their heritage and they definitely do NOT consider themselves to be African American while living here in the USA.

From what we speak on, they value themselves as being THE MAN. The woman is their mate but they are the KING OF THEIR CASTLE. The final word belongs to the man.

I think woman look at that as being dominated or LESS than the man if he makes all of the decisions. Even if the woman thinks that man is attractive or successful, I dont think most want to be LESS than him in a relationship.

This is really a difficult subject for me because the man is not in charge of everything as I sound like he is. The woman is responsible for things too but thats her department. She should not step into the man's business unless he asks her too from what I understand from my friends.

Thats from my personal experience. We even discuss how a woman would leave you if you do not project yourself as THE MAN and do all the things that is expected of THE MAN.

My uncle (by marriage to my aunt) who is African from Nigeria is the same. Every time we talk he always takes THE MAN point of view when we speak on women. They are divorced now for many years but I still consider him my uncle since he was a big positive influence on me and my goals when I was younger.

I hope my experience shines some light on the subject. NO I do not use google as most do. I only talk from personal experience and observation. I like personal experience over statistics, etc.

Hahaha, sadly they are. The Croatian girl is more likely to date a Middle Eastern dude than an African dude any day of the week because of sickle-cell anemia.

It's a perplexing issue. I can't even comprehend their attitudes.

It is oaky for an individual not to be attracted to certain race. The problem comes when you bashing them. It is oaky for a white girl who digs hip hop, black slang, and urban swag not to date BM and be only attracted to her "own race", it is her perogative.

Attraction varies in degree. And the biggest racist site racist might not be bluffing about not being attracted to Black honey's if he's thoroughly conditioned himself against being intimate with Black women and suppressed whatever sexual/romantic attraction he would have otherwise felt for them. He would have to be extremely sexually repressed, though.

Very true, that has always been my sentiment.

I'm not attracted to those kind of girls myself, who want to be down with swag, talk in slang and all that, so I wouldn't even look in their direction, not my kind of women that interests me.

I have always stated that there are so many women in this world that I wouldn't waste my time dwelling on the preferences of an individual. Either we can gel and click or we can't.

Just like I have the preference of women I am attracted to, there are women with preferences in guys they are attracted to. Live and let live is my view.

One of the first rule of order on these kind of subjects is to realize that not everyone will like everyone, sometimes people don't even have reasons for it and to me it doesn't matter much. I just worry about the kind of women I like and go for that.

 

Culture consists of so many things:Literature,music,values and general lifestyle,culinary aspect,.... just to mention a few
It's natural we may like a few factors of a particular culture but not all of them.

 

So, let's say if a Chinese person is into heavy metal, European food, art, and history they're supposed to date whites? This thread makes no sense.

 

They are not suppose to Ebony Allen. I'm talking about at least considering dating outside your ethnicity. Some people wont even entertain the idea. I never like how some people will just try to disregard an entire group of people, especially when you have alot of interest in their culture.
