Any black person who attended a Tea Party rally should be lined up and shot as traitors.

Yes, this is a reenactment. But, there were BM who actually fought on the side of the confederate...and many of them actually volunteered for service.:smt045

Of course, they were promised freedom, which they would've got.

It was a win win for them. If the North won they'd be free, and if the South won they'd be free.

I have Season 2 and it's a blast! The two missing episodes were just as funny!

If the south had won, they would've released to slaves??? Tell me more. How so? Did they promise them freedom? How do you know they would've kept their word seeing that they did not keep the 40 acres and a mule promise?

It wasn't the south that promised the 40 acres & a mule.

No. The very reason why is that the South is known to be incredibly slow to change. In fact, the very purpose of the Civil War was about the South wanting to keep slavery legal because it was a means to maintaining an economic boom. If Nico actually paid attention to history and the reputation it carried (see Mississippi), the promise of freedom would only be an illusion. Even if the South agreed to abolish slavery, they still practice other means of discrimination and look to places like South Africa and it's Apartheid system.

I didn't say abolish slavery, just free the slaves that helped them.

Also Apartheid is based on racism and people weren't racist back then.
Even if they were, Apartheid sounds a whole lot better then slavery..
