Pepsi Max Commercial

Why are people getting upset over this commercial... I have seen plenty of commercials where white women "abuseing" their white husbands.
Seriously would anyone give a danm if the couple was white?

I could easily say that commercial makes white women look weak (i mean who gets KO'd that easily by a pop can?) and slutty (waving at a man whose clearly with another woman).. but I don't let it get my panties in a bunch.

I can understand BW being upset about the commercial; but to publicly boycott pepsi is a little much... thats somthing a guilty party would do.

I understand Michelle Obama's opinion that yeah, she's right in the fact that it does play to those stereotypes about "angry BW", "pretty WW". To fight, sue, or boycott Pepsi is pointless, in my opinion. It won't get them anywhere.

 

I dont see anything wrong with the pepsi commercial they do the samething to white men in commercial like these. it is just that it is a bm looking at a WW

Well said, TastyAcidMilk. By the way, there are more basic grammatical errors in that thread than the ones I pointed out. Perhaps we are smarter in the area of understanding and expressing written English than the posters at racist site are.

Yeah. I couldn't agree with you more. That's why we're smarter than they are. I've never seen so much of powerful words from racist site forum. It's like they really wants to beat the holy hell out of black people like me. And it's pointless for them to trying to scare white women for being with black guys.

It's very powerful if there's interracial relationship, that's very powerful. Yet they're crying foul that they're very worried that their white race may be heading towards extinction. Oh, that's laughable, let me tell you that.

The good thing about it as that there's a low percentage of WW on racist site, according to the posting activity on those threads. On the racist site Ladies thread there's only around 1,000 threads since 1995 (when the forum was launched) and 31,000 posts. Almost all of the other categories have much higher thread/post counts.

The best part about SF is that the fools that designed the site included an opposing views category where anyone could just sign up for an account and attack them, and the posters take the bait. That's the most inspiring part of their forum for us on this site to read.

I wonder what the 2012 Super Bowl would bring, perhaps we could see another racially sensitive advertisement with black guys and white girls, or vice versa, white guys and black girls.
