I forgot to address the second paragraph, if it were a Black country next door in the same condition as Mexico or some African countries and we had a wide open border, the majority of illegal immigrants would be Black and you better believe that there would be as much hate towards them as there is towards Mexicans.

Here's the difference. Other minorites bring more cultural racism against blacks with them and its more insulting when its brought to a country that would have never allowed them rights if it wasn't for black suffering

My mother is from Jamaica and came her the right way too. I agree that immigration laws should be enforced but we can't blame a poor immigrant Mexican for that. People in Mexico do fight but they are going up against powerful elites who want to keep things the same. Also remember, that some Blacks fled to Paris during segregation for a better life.

So what's your point? We don't like illegal immigrants.

Its not the concept of equality I disagree with you about. Its the actual impact between the two groups and its actual effect on communities.

    Idealistically, I agree 100%.

Point taken. I understand where you are coming from, but please know the effects that White supremacy has had on minority populations around the world. You know just as well as I do that in Jamaica, the light skinned people are at the top while the dark skinned are at the bottom, and some people are bleaching (brownin). There was some controversy with the beauty pageants just choosing White or light skinned women. All people of color are affected by hatred of dark skin.

I sure as hell can blame Mexicans for that because they are the ones not standing up for themselves. Againt Egypt is a prime example of people who would not lie down and take it anymore. And I'm not concerned with France and their borders I'm concerned with the US this is my home and where I pay taxes and its not right that hardworking Americans are forced to pay for their kids to go to school while the quality of education for ours go down. Its not fair that we have to pay for their medical expenses. It costs us billions that could go into things tax payers need and are lacking.
    See the point now?

My point is that the same thing that Mexicans are going through is the same thing African immigrant are going through in Europe. They are being told to go back to their countries, they are ruining Europe, fix it up, get out, blah, blah, blah...My other point is that if the government is willing to open up the borders and tempt them with a higher standing of living than what they could get in their own country, then your problem should be with the government, NOT with the poor immigrant who just wants to feed his family since he/she is a pawn.

Natives clashing with immigrants is nothing new. It always happens. I just think Blacks should be above that since we know what it's like to be discriminated against.

MrFantastic, the average person, the AVERAGE person, is not interested in becoming a revolutionary, they just want to live and be able to feed their families. That's it. However, there are people in Mexico who are trying to change things for the better. Now, like I said before, I agree with you about taxpayers footing the bill but your anger should be directed towards the WHITES in government that allow it, not some poor immigrant who has zero power.

We're just going to have to agree AND disagree.

Mexican immigration is a unique challenge in the south west because of the sheer rate and unaccountability. You can have empathy while still recognizing the unique impact. Its really not a black & white issue. No pun intended.

Tell that to Mexicans who come here and discriminate against blacks. Like you said White supremacy has warped the minds of the natives living in the third world but do you think it stops when they come here? Fuck no they jump on the hate black people bandwagon to get closer to whites. We are offered absolutely no compassion from anyone yet we're expected to have it for others? Gtfoh
I'm all about live and let live but I definitely won't sweat mistreatment against a group of people who hate me solely because of my skin color.

I hope I didn't piss you off. I'm sorry if I did. I agree with you in that we should not have an open border and taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill for non-Americans, my only point was that we should put the blame where it belongs, on our government. I guess I empathize more because my mother is an immigrant. That's probably it.

And I agree with you, believe it or not. I just wish that people would recognize that at the end of the day we are all minorities and it would be more beneficial to unite than fight. And when I say unite, I don't mean just with each other, but with Whites as well.

Dude like you said she came here the right way just like my parents. That's exactly why I don't have any sympathy. The blame can be shared by both the immigrants and the government I guess.

I would love to see that too but people for some reason need a group of bad people to hate. Its annoying but true.

Didnt piss me off in the slightest bit.

If we really want to be real about it....most Mexicans still have native american blood and should already be in California. Then theres that Mexican-American war.....

Fact is, we're all modern American tax payers... and with that, expect a certain level of quality in our communities. As much as we empathise with illegal Mexican immigrants... as a whole, they do have a negative effect on communities merely because of the rate of illegal immigration from a poor country. You end up with isolated areas with no checks & balances and a lack of transition into American society.

Thats why i feel its not a black & white issue. I agree 100% that Mexicans should be able to enter this country. But I would be dishonest if i didnt say that the rate makes this a complicated matter.

Also...Im not above saying that we as blacks have out own baggage in hoods all across the country that needs to be cleaned up before we point fingers at other minorities that deal with poverty.

All this latinos taking over crap is nothing but bs... Latinos are a panethnic group and because of that I kind of dont take the latino ethnic group that serious.People act like black folks are dying off or something... Dont let the news fool you, blacks are still the biggest racial minority in the US. Im personally not shocked by the fact blacks are migrating back south... In a few years/decades we will be migrating somewhere else and so on and so forth.
