To think that Hollywood and the media is practically leftist and Democrat registered. Think again. We have a lot of people in the media who are registered Republicans and/or conservative Republicans or people who donated to the GOP. Of course, there will be a shocker or two depending on your expectations, such as Tom Joyner and Sam Raimi.

    So I bring to you...

    List of Republican Celebrities

Hahaha, I would agree with that...to an extent. The obvious conservatives are by far, the most ridiculous.

I don’t discuss my political affiliation anymore but I’ve gotten to the point in my life where I can still respect someone if they just happen to be a republican because that may be what is more in line to what their own personal core beliefs and principles are.

Now if they’re out here supporting the tea party and that particular crowd, then I gotta keep my distance and write them off as completely bat-shit.

I'm not really here to attack anyone who's affiliated with the Republican Party. I happen to be a registered Independent, but lean liberal on social issues, and I tend to be non-partisan on fiscal issues politically speaking. Also, I happen to have met some intelligent Republicans from all the political spectrum.

As far as the two-party system is concerned; I see one particular party as spineless and the other one as clueless. So I don’t believe either one of them are favorable in my book because all of our politicians are bought and paid for anyway.

True. The perks and benefits is what keep them from representing the populace effectively. But then again, there were times that it was justified.

No, she's much older than me.

Families knew each other- at least, my mom knew her family. Place isn't big enough not to know everyone.

That is not a reliable survey.

Donating money, as some listed allegedly did, to a Republican candidate no more makes you a Republican than donating money to an environmental organization makes you an environmentalist.

Even registering as a Republican, as I did at one point, doesn't make you one either. I've been eligible to vote for over ten years now and have never voted for one at any level of government.

Actually...I could understand your sentiments. It's not completely relevant to this, but long story short...she basically was raised Catholic (non-practicing) and then when she turned evangelical, our friendship ended because she kept trying to tell me that I'm going to hell. Change is powerful, especially when influenced under volatile circumstances.

That is true. If you look at some individual pages, a few of them are conservative democrats. However, doing some lengthy Google searches, it's fairly accurate in some form or another.
