LOL, that's not my fight bro, As I expressed before, I never had an issue with the thread, just as I never had an issue with the Asian and Indian women thread, so I can't speak for the guys that did. I just chose to ignore it and let the dudes that care for it enjoy it. Others felt it shouldn't be here, but they can answer that not me. I didn't care if it was here or not, so I can't comment on something I never had an issue with. I realize everyone has their own preferences in life and so I live and let live.
Exactly! And for the record, white women were also part of this struggle and were also in the middle of it. Really, the true adversary was not the entire group of whites, rather the males of that particular group who manipulated pretty much the entire system to work in their favor.
LOL. you arent scared are you. LOL Im mean really are you saying its is ok for dude to say (in so many words)white skin is better than black. Thats what a lot of bros were tripping on. so you are saying you dont have an opinion
I think the contention is Reggie Bush was heavily criticized as a black male dating a white female to not be worthy of being on the cover of Essence magazine Here you have a half black/half white woman with a White male husband in a double cover of Essence and she is not criticized as a sellout or even questioning why she is on the cover. Why is that the case. Doesn't that speak to an issue of insecurity of those black women. Personally I couldn't care less what black women think, I will like white girls 4 life and that is just the way it is. Haters be damned.
No I'm simply saying everyone has their own experiences, pursuits, desires and preferences. I know better than to contend that this skin is better than that skin, I would not insult myself to even debate that. I'm a black man, born in South America, raised in America, date interracially so I have experienced different cultures and know one has to be tolerant and accepting of others in a varied world. My preference in the woman I have next to me at night though is my own decision. I am strong and confident enough to securely make up my mind about that with firm conviction about what I like. As far as skin, I love my skin as a black man because the women that are attracted to me that is a part of the appeal. So I'm not complaining. I wouldn't change being black for anything because I am comfortable and confident in myself, something some black women need to be. I don't get upset if a woman says she doesn't date black guys. Plenty of women out there who do date black men so why should I get worked up about someone's preference for whatever reason it may be.
If you're gonna be fair you can't say the males of the group just some males and surprise surprise some white women too.
I believe have outlined that in my post. I meant to imply the rich, conservative, pro-segregationist, WASP types who favored the status quo in that statement.
http://www.topix.com/forum/world/india/TJ4D1SEI214RBGB4V Karmacoma's response was justified. Face it, you are wrong, goodlove. If you spend a few more minutes on the link, you could see that some of the posters from India are actually racist against blacks.
Yeah, you guys have been going back and forth about this throughout the entire day, we've really got to shut this guy down now. I hope after this post he finally realizes that he's wrong and doesn't find a way to challenge it. Here's another quote, it's the last one on the discussion thread. http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/me...illing_html.html?cxntlid=homepage_tab_newstab Racism against blacks is definitely more complicated than it being exclusively between blacks and whites. What's your response now, Goodlove?
