I'm half Swedish so I can give you some half-good advice.
Most Swedish girls I've met (including myself) are easy-going and laid back. Not high maintenance at all. Of course, they're not all like this. They're also quite open-minded. But other than stereotypes which you shouldn't really attach to anybody anyway, Swedish girls are just girls. Females are all the same, deep down inside.

That's what I keep trying to tell these "European women are better" people. If you are lame then you're lame in Europe or America.

True. I know my fair share of seriously hideous (inside & out) Swedish girls. They're not all blonde-haired, button-nosed, long-legged goddesses with a willingness to cater to their men.

That is true,I seen some of them during my visits there in the past. For example Ann Margaret the actress looked like a bit like Pippi Longstocking with that red hair. I like the ones who are buxom with booty.

Good luck Raul. Let us know if you take Tarshi's advice and what she says when you say bork bork. :p

Also can't rep you but I have your request and will do it as soon as my internet is hooked up in my new place. I don't want to do it from my phone since FB takes all my contacts and replaces the pics with their FB ones. Didn't want you to think I was ignoring you. Just going crazy with my move.

    The goods.

As mentioned elsewhere, Swedish culture carries heavy egalitarian overtones, so cockiness does not play well. I'd venture to say that Elin Woods was equally angry at the misuse of her ex-husband's social status and the characteristics of that misuse. Depending on how accepting she is of American culture, she may expect more humility than young American women.

The Swedish women I've met (around 7) did not define their (external) femininity through glamorous representation. Sweden has progressive social values with regard to gender roles, so women are less likely to view femininity through the use of makeup and high heels. Despite this, of the seven-ish female Swedes I've known, only one would qualify as "plain" by American standards.

Keep in mind the possibility that she may find relatively traditional gender roles an attractive alternative to what she may be used to. Just like in any relationship, being able to read her cues is important.

P.S.: Unlike most cultures in the western hemisphere, Sweden has a sex positive culture.
