    Agreed.

I wouldnt really care if they didnt have a Black guy on one of them shoes at all (due to the fact that no group(asian, latino, indian, etc) has a member on a show like that)

What gets to me,however,is that they are willing to put a coon like flavor flav on a show like that basically showing off all negative black male qualities.:ast time i checked,no other group had a show like that.

But a the end of the day,all this is is another example of the racist media;ignoring Black men with good qualities, but at the same time showcasing our bad apples.

The simple point is why doesn't the 'Bachelor' have other ethnicities?

would be interesting to see a bachelor with other ethnicities..

Supply and demand people. There is a "zero demand" for a fuckin "blackchelor" on tv... so they wont waste money on supplying it.

The bachelor is more like a "prince trying to find a princess" type shit. Its a white thang.....so let it be

I will admit that someone out there is marketing the "all american white guy"....and doing a damn good job at it...But ive watched some of these bachelor shows, and most of them were boring blokes, and the women were clearly just putting a fuckin act on tv.....

Because some BM on here keep exhibiting it.

You'd think it would be women worrying about what they see on TV but nooooo.

    Man up, fellas.

    Man up?

    What?

It's a simple question of asking why the show doesn't have different ethnicities?

Does it make me a man to sit back and say "forget it"?

    Nah, it doesn't.

the only place a "black bachelor" show would get over is BET or TV-ONE.. and, well, I'm thinking the racial roles would be reversed, maybe a token white and/or "other" girl at best..

Bad Apples? Are you talking about flavor flav or hood folks in general, being a hoodguy myself that is rude to call me a bad apple man.

Yes it would be nice to see a brotha besides a hood one like flavor flav on those shows, but one thing everyone gots to know is that usually those who we usually call "classy brothas"(without no intention of meaning they are better by saying they are classy though.) in the entertainment industry are weak and harmless against racism because not all but they usually don't see it or are scared. Where as to hood blacks don't fear racism which is why they get what they want a lot.
Case in Point: A lot of rappers find Bill O'Rielley racist as to blacks that fit the classy brotha status like a Al Sharpton or Jason Whitlock don't.

It is like I said I think a year ago, only way to get things like a black bachelor is if blacks in the entertainment industry stand up and show no fear for racism. Only known blacks that has done that more just happens to be us hood folks. I don't no where them classy brothas that are aware of racism and don't fear it, but they are reaching extinct level in the entertainment industry. So lets not blame people like flav that is just the way he is plus he was part of public enemy one of if not the best voices for being fearless of racism in entertainment period, blame those kind of brothas for backing down to racism.

Like I said about the thing with mainstream hollywood's racism for mainstream white actress's no-IR with bm "policies". Will Smith, Denzel Washington, etc. and all of them clearly know whats going on with that, but not having the voice to want to say something or go up agaisnt them.
Rappers not all cause some are fearful too, but a lot rappers from the hood, do not fear racism, and voice what they got to say on those issues a lot. They aren't afraid to put a whitegirl in their video, hip hop producer polow da don calls himself the kign of whitegirls, lets not forget that song about whitegirls by that lightskinned dude a while back.

Comedians like dave chapelle, chris rock, katt williams, eddie griffin has went there in their comedy acts and some in their movies.
I mean you could say what you want about hood, ghetto entertainers like flavor flav, but at least they're not afraid of racism.

And thats the reason why you don't see a classy-like black bachelor, A lot of the classy brothas are either fearful or just plain lost on racism.

There is an good example of it on that one episode of fresh prince of bel-air. Where Carlton & Will were pulled over and takened to jail because the cops thought they stole the car, should check the ending of that.

  15. They should probably use that Isiah Mustafa guy from the Old Spice commercials. He mainstream enough now that i think no one would even care. I even know white women who aren't into black guys who love the hell out of him.

There's a very good reason why they have yet to cast other ethnicities as lead roles in the bachelor.
