:pCongrats to the Pack and their fans. I always go NFC after the Pats go down, and they were my pick, though no money was riding on it. I didn't like how everyone decided to go with the Steelers +3 as underdogs. The Pack was clearly the more well rounded team. Don't believe me? Here's my original NFC scouting report from post #5:

Well, they clearly overcame playing on the road, didn't they? Atlanta was my 1 seed on that side, and once they Dismantled that squad, it was Super Bowl or Bust. They also overcame a lack of a running game, and it was clear by the second quarter that the Offense had lost faith in running the ball. I've never seen such a one sided attack in the super bowl. Not even the Greatest show on Turf aired it out as much as the Pack did.

This team only gets better in the years to come when they are even more healthy, with stars like Ryan Grant and Jermichael Finley. The team as a whole is pretty young.

I lost the heart to keep this thread updated once my Pats went down, albeit respectively, to those hated Jets :smt090

What a boring Super Bowl. I really wanted neither team to win. LOL.

Now, I'm just hoping that the NFL will be back next season.

It's hard Bookie to get into a Super Bowl when neither team is one you particularly like and especially when it's not your team.....I was with you on this, I couldn't get into it either...and I love football.....!

    LAME

Is it just me, or did last night's Super Bowl seem to be the lamest in recent memory? Or maybe that's what I get for cheering for Pittsburgh!

The Packers road to the championship was identical to what my fantasy football team did this season. We both overcame a lotta injuries, we took out the top-seeded team in the playoffs as a wildcard, and we got hot at the right time of the season. Even though it appeared that the odds were stacked against us, we continued to press on until we reached the ultimate goal.
