There is a critical difference. Middle Eastern men are feared because of notion of equating terrorism to their identity. Black men are feared because of what's projected on the news in our own territory, which is alarming.

It's pretty sad. And let me guess, this is an Italian majority area?

When it comes to fear, I don't see a difference in this case. Fear knocks all rationality out of the window.

And when you think about it, many people view IR dating as terrorism on the white race. The most racist folks I have had the dubious pleasure of knowing have a real fear that the white race is going to be wiped out. For some of those people, that's war. For some of those people, that's domestic terrorism.

....again, if i'm not using my personal experiences as a basis for my reply then how would my personal experiences be a basis for my reply. I've given examples on why I believe to be correct. My example (again in case you missed them) black culture, popular black culture, mainstream american culture and the prevalence of the bmww images.

The Jefferson's, Star Trek, and looking around in a circle no withstanding......neither you nor brutha MrF have offered up anything to support your position.

Where the attacks happened? No. It happened in a predominately black area.

I'm a little busy at the moment so I can't make a long reply. But I'd have to agree with the other people instead of Ymra. Anyways, take a look at this:

    http://www.racist site.***/forum/t776896/
(type in .org where it's censored)

Based on the posts there and the videos it's self, it seems like there's in-fighting between white males and white females. I read something in the newspapers that said a lot of Asians and Hispanics were moving into Northern Virginia, making that area more metropolitan, central and diverse, relative to the rest of the state of Virginia.

In my opinion, the future is going to be like the "clash of the titans", with people who want to adopt a new way of thinking with interracial dating, and people who argue against that and still have a 1900's way of thinking about it. (ie, segregated dating, segregated high school proms, etc)

Dude do I need to prove the US is the biggest war mongering empire in recent history?
Do I need to show proof that corporate greed has destroyed enitre countries and even American politics?
Do I need to prove that climate change is real?

No you can see it with your own two eyes if you pay attention. So pay attention fam.

    Are you kidding me?
How often do you see middle eastern men being unjustifiably shot down by the cops or falsely imprisoned by the judicial system?
I'm not saying other people don't suffer but as far as America is concerned bm are public enemy number one.
I won't play victim and say many of us bring it on ourselves but so many of us don't and we're constantly being lumped in with assholes who do.

Hmmmm, that is a very valid point altogether. That makes a lot of sense here.

You're missing the whole thing altogether. Just because Hollywood implemented these scenes depicting interracial relationships doesn't correlate to them being more accepted outright. And for you to use black culture as an example shows that you lack some sense of knowledge. Black culture have been popular (music, TV shows, comedians), but none of that translates to acceptance of black men and white women in general mainstream culture regarding relationships and marriage.

Also, I can bring up OJ Simpson and Nicole Simpson for the kind of attitudes people generally had over that relationship. Hell, people were more kind to Roman Polanski and his situating having sex with an underage girl as opposed to the OJ case. From a non-celebrity case, remember the Justice of the Peace who basically denied a black man and white woman to get married in Louisiana? Yeah, this was in 2010, little brother. So again your statements are unfounded. Try again.

I never implied that racism was never exclusive to one group. If it came off as such then sorry.

Actually that would be Great Britain....

This is since the beginning of the barter system and trade.

to all the above if I challenge you on either one of the points your reply can't be "well look it up" or "I never met any who" a statement of fact. a fact/truth is something that can be supported. You can say "climate change is real" but if I say it isn't........and I offer up reasons why, and you don't...

    ...you lose.

    its that simple.

If you told me climate change wasn't real I don't have to cite a whole bunch of examples outside of the last 3 years have been the hottest on record. We've had more hurricanes than ever and this winter shows there's something funky going on. Again just open your eyes the truth is in front of your face.
Btw the Brits never drop a nuclear bomb killing hundreds of thousands at once and they don't have military bases all around the world like the US does and at least the Brits have kind enough to declare war before killing people.
    I'm just saying...

    Thank you.

And as to your second point, no- I don't think it came off that way. I was just answering your question. I wasn't sure what you were getting at right then to be honest.

This is true. I happen to agree with this.

I assumed that the attacks happened in a predominantly Italian neighborhood.
