I believe I have answered that. The clear answer is simple: She's basically an old white man's wet dream. Everything about her hearkens back to the old view of the kind of woman they want. Whereas women and minorities don't have a favorable opinion of her. Secondly, like any conservative establishment, she's the quintessential fear-mongering individual who sheds misinformation.

Also, having a strong following of supporters doesn't translate to a legit President. There's a lot more to consider such as:

1. Having knowledge in foreign relations.
2. How to articulate her stances on social and economic issues.
3. Being able to serve as a leader.

These are some of the crucial factors for anyone to hold a high position in office. Given that she was Mayor and Governor of Alaska, it was much easier for her because she's known by the public. Regarding the POTUS status, it would be much harder because she's incapable of holding a lot of intellectual decision making, especially with her far-right on a lot of issues.

Also, her approval ratings dipped a good deal to below 35% and it's because of her ranting about nonsense when there are more important things to consider. That's not the sign of an intellectual leader. That's just an opportunist who prefers to linger around, only to lack any real significance in the coming weeks.

I think it makes sense to say that they are good for masturbating to, but not Sarah Palin in particular. Morgan should have picked a different woman to make that statement about.

1st. Palin was unknown until John McCain tapped her to be his running mate.
- McCain has become far to Liberal and he needed someone to help pull him down more on the right.
- McCain is also an old fart, very much a part of the political establishment. Folk were tired...dead tired of the Bush Republicans.
- They were but they also were leary of "smart" politicians. The reason why Bush was so popular because; they (the voting American public) felt his slack jaw yokel persona made him "one of them"
- Palin gave simpleton Ma and Pa American a voice. She is able to say (and not really say) the things that dumb wits want
- Palin is able to stoke the fear of "them people" the government and anything that slow wit America says that they don't understand.

......its the reason why Paris Hilton was so popular. Being on the oner stage, even when people follow your every move does make you smart....

...in fact most of what Palin does and says is spoon fed her by others. We only get a clue into how dumb the woman really is when she speaks off the cuff and unaided. She is a truly politically lost...
