    Whatever.

    I don't have cable and never get the opportunity to see Beck blather to his followers and detractors. From what I've seen of him on youtube, he isn't someone to take seriously and is unlikely to leave a lasting imprint on American society or culture.

    Historical note: Henri Gregoire was a leader of the French Revolution who also championed the intellectual equality of blacks to whites. He gave a copy of his book An Enquiry Concerning the Intellectual and Moral Faculties and Literature of Negroes to Thomas Jefferson, once U.S. ambassador to France, but TJ went to his grave a white supremacist.

    As long as the American media gives the two largest political groups equal consideration as if both are the balanced antithesis of right and wrong....people like Glen beck will be given a platform in the name of fairness.
