Finally, a superhero flick starring an Afr-Am character is on-the-way. Not to take anything away from Wesley Snipes' Blade. http://popwatch.ew.com/2011/01/21/black-panther-movie-marvel/?hpt=Sbin The Kid Rasta
**Also coming to a theater near you, 'White Thunder' starring, Chandler White, as well as, 'Yellow Fever', starring Jackie Chan. As much as this movie seems to be "groundbreaking", the title kind of makes me not wanna see it.
I'm not into superhero movies so it really doesn't matter who is starring. Great. We have a black superhero. Congratulations. Progress has been made.
I'm not into superhero movies either. I could care less about a black superhero thing myself. As long as the movie delivers, then I'm good.
Black Panther must be a throw back to the 70's when black heroes had to have the word "black" in their names, like, "Black Lightning".
If you're going to do it do it all out: Blade vs Underworld vs Buffy the Vampire Slayer vs Twilight vs Lestat.
ill settle for Blade and Jessica Biel in Trinity:2 cut out Ryan Renolds and lets get some action going on between Blade and her character
Asian girls bring it..believe that growing up, i've met plenty that dug us (east asian ones specifically) they were always polite and respectful, and open to fraternizing
Wherever you lived at...I'd like to know. Where I live (huge Vietnamese community), they don't really interact with a lot of non-Asians.
Why take an existing character when they can make a new one? Just get Coco to play the role of Cocoa, the choco-Hunter. Secretly in love with Africa and Black Panther and her oppressive daddy basically want to use them as cattle for his own greedy means.
