I must say that I wondered what the reaction would be like in a mostly black bar.

see how much 'support' the IR couples get when they're knee deep in Klan country

 

I'm not sure they'd get much support in an all black setting either. It would probably melt down pretty quickly if you had actors instigating an incident...

 

they should have done a scenario like that, instead of the ones they did, which were clearly biased. If you're going to conduct experiments like that, you need more variety.

besides, a crazy bar with one side supporting IR and the other screaming slurs, would turn into quite the ratings grabber.

 

alot of the guys i know what would have beat his ass down, these shows play it safe with the nicey nicey friendly lookin IR couples

 

I wouldn't resort to violence, but would put someone like that in their place real quickly by letting them know I'm a grown ass man, in a free country and it is my choice to be with whomever I want and it is not the concern or business of any outsider to be rude and insert themselves into the affairs of two consenting adults in 2011.

So they ought to sit down and worry about their own personal lives and not the lives of someone else that they they don't know anything about.

I may toss in a few expletives as well in the heat of the moment, but the point will get across.

Of course bigots are usually more subtle than that, because they know better than to open their mouths in a public setting. That is why you can't take bigots seriously, they can often be the biggest duplicitous, two faced cowards. They'll be smiling at you outwardly or profess how many this and that friends they have and on the inside hate you.

Ironically it was a couple of white guys that spoke up vocally to the two black females and the white guy and white female about the BM/WF couple, the black couple seemed to be more laid back about them being criticized by the two black women.

 

They made the Brother the bigot.

 

neither would i personaly but there is people who would snap if someone said that kinda thing to them, i have seen bigots justify verbally abusing interracial couples by saying "everyones entitled to their opinions, they made the choice to be in such relationships so shouldnt complain when certain things are said" do these people actualy think they can say stuff to any IR couple and walk away without anything being said?

Let those bigots talk shit now, since they wanted to run their mouths, I'll give them something to eat away at them and toss and turn at night if they want to worry about other individual's personal lives.

I had to laugh when I saw the bald guy's reaction to the white couple's verbal assualt. Me, personally, I'm not sure what I would do. I guess I would first try to ignore them, depending on how strong they attempted to get our attention. I remember a couple years ago when my girlfriend and I were going into a resturant a guy from a truck, heading toward the exit of the parking lot yelled. "Play on playa!" I heard it, my girlfriend didn't hear a thing except for her heart beating with excitment for our date(cheesy, I know lol). I just ignored him and acted like I didn't hear him. I told her months later. I mean in all honesty I didn't know if they were white or black, but the guy sounded white. Also, I guess there could have been more worse things said. Maybe it was some weird form of a compliment. I have taken girls I dated in the past there, but this was months before dating the woman I'm with now.

Had chinese food that night, eggrolls were still on point though.

And now I'm going to checkout the segment on the Overweight Lady in the Resturant.

 

i have had some little slapper tell me "i can do better then him" these were only little girls aswell, one just stood dead with :| look on her face lookin at me and my bf at the time sittin on the wall, could tell it gave her "the fear" hahaha, got the feeling these were the kinda little white girls that are brain washed by their parents with the usual lies, could be wrong but they def had that look about them

but miss mouthy got a nice load of nice words from me that left her red in the face and speechless haha, but thats what you get when you want to be clever with people who you decied to mouth off to

 

I'm far, far, far, far to agressive to sit back and just watch it happen and do nothing. It might cause me to do a double take, but not long at all to say anything. The brutha that just sat there and lookin'fucking ZESTY. Lasted longer than I could have.

The problem is NOT that people around dont' think its wrong, the problem is fear. A lot of people out there aren't going to let it in in WORDS.

What happens with these shows is they always do them in more liberal minded places. I would like to see them do this show in "little Rock" or "ass fuck texas" and see if anyone comes to the aid of another.
