The way I look at it we like what we like in life. Some men have an appreciation for dark skinned women, some can care less and some like a woman that looks pale in complexion. It is what it is in a world of variety.

In the end you still have to gel with that person's personality. There are some white girls I would have no interest in because their personalities don't fit mines. Looks only mean so much before you eventually have to deal with someones mentality and mindset in a relationship environment.
