    Hi,
I'm living in the metro Boston area and I want to know if ww date bm. The reason I'm asking this is because I barely see these couples in the Boston area. The only ir couples I see is White male Asian Female and I've even dealt with racism from these couples before. Just wanna know.

I live on the South Shore and date black men. You will see a LOT of interracial BM/WW couples in Cambridge and Dorchester. Boston is the MOST racist city that I have EVER lived in. However, I have been in a significant relationship and dated several quality BM since moving here 2 years ago

Bosoxlady, hope you give him more places for brothers to meet WW. Places like The Town,Southie, and others have a lot of Yankee rednecks and racist seventh generation Irish.

LOL. Only when drunk. I moved to the states at age 10(DC) and worked on losing the accent. Plus as I teacher ESL, I work on a generic accent as I don't want my kids to sound liek redneck and want them to know that R is indded a letter in the Englsih alphabet :D

I've lived in Boston for 6 years now and West Palm Beach (where I grew up) is more openly racist then Boston. I remember when I was in school over there (west palm beach) they'd call me the n-word (I've also heard it in Boston) in class and certain white people wouldn't park next to me (also in Boston). But now that I think about it Boston is more segregated than West Palm Beach but so far I haven't seen any body with confederate flags (Doesn't offend me. Used to see it all the time in WPB) I remember living in a group home (Boston) and the people were very racist towards me.

Sorry BoSox if I meant you. I remember the busing situation,Louise Day Hicks (May She Rot),The Sox under Yawkey rule, the treatment of Bill Russell, and others at Beantown. In Ireland that is another story since I read about the IR there. It is a complicated city that is good in some areas and bad in others.

Oh, no I knew you didn't mean ME. LOL. So no offense was taken. I loath the "Irish Americans" in this town. I did not meet hardly any Irish Americans til I moved here. Dc doesn't have that many. I posted all the stuff about the racism in Boston in the What you hate about your area thread.

My point is yes that despite the racism IR relationships happen here. One of my very good friends is black and she sates white guys and I date balck guys, so when we hang it is fun :)

Irish have a nerve being racist...not too long ago they were called "the niggers of europe"..

Now that they've finally been accepted into the White fold..they have emerged as the most racist of the bunch.

They aren't close to being as racist as the Mexicans. I've been educated big time lately.

Irish-Americans FH. I am FROM Ireland and was not raised to be racist. Have travelled back home with a former boyfriend and got zero harassment.

    u lot arent racist

u just cant stand the English

    :p

honestly tho..reminds me of a few movies like Irish Jam, and the WW2 one, where the blacks that went to Ireland, were treated like any other people. If Ireland does start treating blacks horribly, it would be because of American influence.

seriously, wtf did we ever do to deserve the way we get treated?

My dad told me never to bring home an English gu, but never said anything about a black guy. Black people did nothing to deserve the treatment they get and you and I know that.

In terms of the Brits, I have been there and love London, but outside of it eh....
