So the cycle begins again, more babies to uneducated mothers with no "responsible male" raising the kid, the kid ends up in the courts, mental farms, or prisons, may be the next homicide statistic, kills, rapes, and causes immense sufferings to their communities in gang activities, becomes a ward of the states and causes the government to spend trillions of dollars in supporting them in everything from welfare to supporting their own children who they will leave behind for me the taxpayer to take care of, so the cycle begins yet again.

Abortion is preferable to the lives these kids have forward too. While we as a community make up excuses and reason why this behavior is ok. At first news its "ahh that's a shame" then its "You have to be positive" and "Woe is me I'm a single mother"....added to that a plethera of other excuses "Hey my mother raised me by herself and I turned out..it must be ok"

There is something brother in our community and our culture. There isn't an easy fix. Most of these kids lacked a father coming up. Home was used as a sperm carrier, so who can expect that her daughter would know the importance and value of a FATHER/HUSBAND?

 

I've seen MTV's shows "16 and Pregnant" and "Teen Mom".

I can assure you that those shows DO NOT glamorize being pregnant. It shows those girls fighting with their significant others and parents because they want to go out and party and can't. It shows them getting up 6-10 times each night to feed the baby because it's screaming and crying. It shows families of the couple arguing about what's going to happen to their future now that they have a child to take care of. It shows them trying to make money, care for a child, finish school, and just live a life.

There's nothing glamorous about it, that's for sure.

Really, I think they need to stop this abstinence bullshit. It doesn't prevent pregnancy, it just makes sex the carrot dangling off of the distance that every kid is going to try at some point- and when they do, they won't be prepared for it. I hate that about abstinence only education.

As for abortion- completely separate issue.

Lots of girls from good stable two parent homes get pregnant. How many pastor's daughters and college girls come home knocked up?

And what about the males who want to be in their child's life but the women play games, try to move out of state, fuck other men around his kids and so on?
