As promised, My Divisional Playoff Round Picks.

If I had gone with my heart and took the Seahawks like I did with a certain betting establishment, not only would I have won the 3 hundo I did, but I also would have been a perfect 4 for 4 here for my wildcard round picks. This round will prove increasingly difficult as the cream has risen to the top and quite frankly, all the teams I would expect to be there at this time of year are still here, except for the Cowboys or Philly. However, philly went down to the Pack as expected (by me).

So who's left? In order of my ranking system:
    NFC
    1. Atlanta Falcons
    2. Green Bay Packers
    5. Chicago Bears
    6. Seattle Seahawks

    AFC
    1. N.E. Patriots
    2. Pittsburgh Steelers
    3. Baltimore Ravens
    5. N. Y. Jets

So in the NFC, this is the easy side. I am a guy that USUALLY goes with the teams that have a week off in the Divisional Round. After 18 weeks of body banging, you have no idea how much of a benefit it is to put your feet up for a week. The problem with my ranking system is I have the second best team in the AFC taking on the Best. And the second worst taking on the worst due to an upset special last week.

    Bears Defeat Seahawks----
Simple pick. I'll shit a brick if the Seahawks pull out a win at Soldier Field in January. This week the Hawks get +10 in vegas, and i still wouldn't touch that.
    Falcons Defeat Packers----
Very tough pick here in a tough, offensive game. Should be very fun to watch that one Sat. Night. I'm basically just taking the team with Michael Turner. I feel he's the X-factor that sets the two apart. I rank the defenses about the same and the Packers passing game slightly more efficient. However, the ability to run the ball controls the clock, and I think Atlanta will use that exactly as they should.

    AFC
    Patriots over Jets-----
I won't waste your time: I'm a homer and the Pats are the best team in Football. They are favored by 8.5 and i'd gladly bet the Pats minus 14

Baltimore with the Upset Special over Pittsburgh-----
I will waste your time: I hate Pittsburgh and it's hard for me to ever pick them. However, in all honesty I think Baltimore is playing better football. Pitt may end up losing Polamalu to injury at some point Saturday as he only has one speed (All out Maniac) and he will probably tweak that bum achilles tendon of his. Once that happens, that defense becomes highly suspect. I like Ray Rice running the ball down their throats, and I like the Ravens defense making Roethlisberger cry. Ravens win another game on the road, but get beat up heavily in the process.

    Enjoy the games!

I am from Ireland so I love soccer. Grew up in DC and went to college in New Orelanes. Was a skins fans til I learned of their racist history. Loved the sox til I found out about their racist asses too.

I tolerated the Pats went I lived in western mass as they also like the Gaints. I hate the Pats as everyone here acts like Belinchek is God and Brady is Christ. Plus my good friend is the cousin of Bridget Moyihan(Brady;s ex and baby's momma) and the little pussy Brady lets his stupid wife make trashy comments about her and can't keep her dumb ass in check with the press. Also the little metrosexual allows her to make him have a Justin Beiber haircut. For the greatest quaterback EVER the man has zero cajones, so I have NO respect for him and hence the team he commands: See links:

I LOVE my Saints. New Orleanes needed the win. Given the choices I will go for the Ravens because I like Balto, but I am rooting for the Jets Sunday,

Ought to be interesting since I am watching the game with my man and his friends and have EVERY intention of wearing a JETS shirt :D

Ever since that first turnover by the Ravens, they've basically just been pissing the game away smh. If the Steelers win, then they deserve it.

Possible matchup of Packers AT Bears next weekend, and all because the Bears got beat late in the season to let them get in. This could come back to haunt Chicago fans. Gonna be a hell of a game assuming Chicago holds up their end of the bargain.

Yes it could, and I hope it doesn't. I hope the Bears crush Seattle today and CRUSH the Packers next weekend. If they beat Seattle today only to lose to the team that THEY let in next weekend, it's going to be a very, very, very sad day in Chicago.

I know the Bears wanna win this game but they don’t wanna see Aaron Rodgers and the Packers next week.

Wow. The Seahawks finally woke up in the last 6 minutes of the game.

The Bears definitely have their work cut out for them next week. Our only saving grace may be our home field advantage. Bring on the Pack!!

    Go Jets! :smt026:smt026
