That poor baby, how could the parents not hear his cries?

Poor baby and poor ferret. Someone needs to chop off the parents' fingers and then hurl them across the room and crack their skulls open. IMO

Poor parents will have to live with the pain they unintentionally caused their poor baby.

Come on Republican...I mean Brittney. You don't the parents stuck the babies hand in the animals mouth and said "here...eat these" They did what a lot of people did. Get a puppy (in this case a ferett)...and raise the baby and the fetett at the same time.

Its sad all the way around, but kill the parents?

dang...next think you know you are going to start putting congress women in cross hairs.

Well that story is full of holes and just outrageous. A farret hotline, WTF is that, people need to stop domesticating animals like the U.S. needs to stop meddling in other countries affairs.

The parents may as well have stuck the babies hand in the animal's mouth and said, "here...eat these". The ferret is just an animal and the baby is helpless. The parents should have been smarter and more careful. Wouldn't anyone else? Who leaves a 4 month old baby unattended around any kind of animal with sharp teeth? And far away enough that the animal's going to eat 7 fingers before either one of the parents hears his cry?
And I really don't care enough about politics to even really know what a Republican is or who anyone is in congress, so no worries.

Because of the careless ignorance of the parents, the child has to grow-up with mutilated hands.......Pet or not, I would have to find a horrible slow death for that ferrets ass............

Yeah, because you know the ferret is a sociopathic serial baby finger eater.

That's why I don't fuck with animals unless they are decorative material for my coat. I been chased by pitbulls and rottweilers, hence my disinterest in owning pets.

Arch did you see it said the dad threw the ferret across the room into the wall and killed it.

The poor child. I hope they take Shriners Hospital. up on their offer to transplant toes to his hands. Life with just two thumbs and part pinky will be awful for him.

    Jordan trust me,
That wall death did little to easy the intense bitterness and hurt in that fathers heart.....he probably wished he could kill it over and over again...........There was just a recent story down here in florida where a Backward-ass redneck couple kept a 14ft. bermease python in the same room with thier newborn baby.....needless to say it strangled and killed the baby but when attempting to devour, could not expand its jaws wide enough to meet the baby's shoulders. The parents are both in jail awaiting sentencing..........Moral of the story-----Protect your damn children by keeping them AWAY from unconventional pets........

This is a sad story. I definately know now I won't having any pets when I have kids. I love animals, but I'd like to NOT have to worry about Fido trampling the baby or some other animal instinct kicking in.

On a somewhat lighter note, the police chief has a sense of humor:

In the wake of the most recent incident, ferret activists and rescuers from around the country have called Ambrose about the pet.

"We've had them calling from all sorts of states asking about the ferret," Ambrose said. "Well, I guess if you collect dead ferrets, you can have one."

What a stupid-ass take from such a bright woman......There are times when you can't play devils advocate Brittney......I don't remember whether or not you are a parent, but it would serve you well to try to empathize some with these parents………….
