Five Worst Cities for IR Dating in America?

College Park.. doesn't have the best rep. I'll admit I've been in Atlanta for 15 yrs and I've been down there maybe a handful of times. It's just too hood for me and I just don't date anyone from that part of the city.

 

I know...

The dude I dated wasn't from there. I used to stay at a hotel (near the airport) when I used to visit, so I'd go out to some of the local restaurants around there.

 

I've not lived in LA...but party HARD in Baltimore and I'm not sure what BAR you went to....but I've not been too many places....(I'm black) and have people just stare....like you got a red light on your forehead. unless it was the biker trucker bars.

 

I don't remember the name. It was a bar in Towson.

It was too smokey and not my type of scene.

We ended up at some restaurant nearby.

 

Oh ok, well if you ever come back try some of the better areas like Marietta,Duluth,Sandy Springs or the North part of Decatur.

What's wrong with Midtown/Downtown and Buckhead?

I thought about moving to the ATL at one point....

 

Midtown, the crime is crazy in that area right now.
Buckhead has lost it's appeal but is still a cool place to hang out if on a date.

 

That sucks....

My X and I was always goofy, and if someone was acting "put-offish" we always sorta fucked w them to the point they started laughing w us and interact.
I think of all the places we went together, the most "off-putting vibes we got was actually in Newark.

Yeah, see the "problems" might be there, but if you put the energy into it, it might be an issue. Now we can't help if someone tries to physically assault us or verbally say something, but all we can do is go about our business.

People in Baltimore definitely do stare. And the sisters are just as bad about it as the WM. People in DC stare also. I have had my most pleasant experiences in the suburbs of Baltimore and the suburbs of DC. I did not have to deal with stares out in the burbs.

The sad thing about Baltimore is that the entertainment centers, the churches and most of the neighborhoods are not well integrated. Although this area is considered to be very liberal, it remains southern in many ways.

 

I'm good where I'm at. The white girls be all over me once I hit that dougie.

 

Just an observation of mine, but it's noticeable to many. That Blonde women might get more shit about being with a BM, cause they stand out more. Whereas someone with Brunette hair and less Anglo-Saxon looking, might not get as much grief.

I think with my Bmore bar thing, we got stares cause everyone was White and we're an IR couple walking in. Once we sat down, no one paid us any mind, but it wasn't my type of place or crowd anyway.

Yeah, my friend is always telling me about Rockville and places like that for dating out your way.

I got some stares when I went to the club - Love, but no one said anything. I was also with a 6'3 BM and I was groovin' my ass off...lol That might've been me - being in some new surroundings and not knowing what could possibly happen or not. That night wasn't about anything racial. I felt like a little person cause everyone was so tall that night and then I met some dude and when we went to exchange numbers, he had some girls pic as his screen-saver. I was turned off and declined.
