Lad seems to be all over the place in his personality.

He catches flack in Italy from bigots for being the first black player to be on the Italian National team.

I hope his game continues to mature and he turns into a world class footballer and let his game speak for itself, when all is said and done years from now.

Yeah I'm watching it too. City are all talk and no class, I've grown up with their mouthy fans crawling out of the woodwork on derby day, claim how there's no United fans in Manchester and all this and all that...
Now they've been bought as a game by a rich Arab and think they're just as good and just as capable. Unfortunately money talks but they have absolutely no team spirit, play very aggressive football when they're losing and have a bunch of overpaid egomaniacs.

LOL, I think the trophy cabinet attests to which club holds the standard for success.

As much as I am an Arsenal fan I have to give full credit to United for their level of success under Ferguson, they usually find a way to get the job done.

Leicester and Man City finished up 2-2, so a replay in 10 days.

Always just lacking that extra killer instinct.

Gone are the days of Vieira, Bergkamp, Henry, Overmars, Petit, Adams, Winterburn, Keown, Dixon, Parlour.

Those teams had a killer instinct to take care of business. Every season I keep thinking this squad of players will cross the threshold, but they come up short.

We'll see how the season plays out in the title chase and Cup, as well as our tie vs Barca in the Champions League. The last meeting wasn't pretty against Barcelona for us. Hope its better this time.

 

im not a football fan but when i hear all the city fans are bitter and scum it does make me laugh since when i see nasty stuff written online 9 times out of 10 im looking at a united fan posting

 

See, for me it's the complete opposite. City fans are more obsessed with United than they are with their own team, which is pathetic to me. Even today, they drew and ALL they could talk about was United's game.
My personal worst experiences have been with City fans. No fans from any other team have ever been so rude and disrespectful. The derby before last, a 6"2 bloke started squaring up to me because United won. He would have actually hit me if my boyfriend hadn't been there. Unfortunately, bar what about four, the majority of City fans I've met have been like that.
Makes me glad that I was raised in Trafford and not Stockport... would hate to be one of them

As for Balotelli, the difference between him and others is that he's so ungreatful and he makes it known. He's been at Wastelands for what... 6 months and says he wants to leave because Italy has better weather... even though he gets $200,000 a week!! Mate I'd treck through snow, rain, whatever for half of that.
The problem is, most of the young players get like that whe they get such incredible money. Look at Rooney!! He was England's golden boy then the mong goes and shags hookers whilst his wife is pregnant just because he can. They think they can get away with ANYTHING. Look at John Terry! He's pissed on a bar (ON a bar), shagged one of his best mates birds and got her pregnant and paid for an abortion, beaten up stewards etc etc... the problem with England is that these guys get treated like Gods...which they aren't! Balotelli has played about 6 games for the scum and he's been in the papers more for his out of the field antics and his footy! Pathetic
