I come from a hunting and fishing family - all was eaten, every single scrap. Moose is VERY tasty btw.

Also, the moose population has to be regulated or it will grow too large. I dont know how it works in Alaska or Canada, but in Sweden, they keep track of the population and people that are allowed to hunt, gets allotted a specific number so that its not over hunted.

I do agree that there are a lot of pointless game hunting that is just for sports, and that makes me nauseous. But hunting to keep the population in check and eaten. I dont have a problem w that.

 

The reason why folks(and not just white folks you idiots) care so much is because dogs are "man's best friend". iN the United States dogs arent looked at as just worthless little animals, they are parts of the family. And its not even the BM angle that bugs me so much but the blatant hypocrisy some people exhibit. The shit we all participate in as far as animal testing for luxury items like perfume or assholes going to bear hunt to show they were "brave" enough to kill a big animal is ok. And no one is saying animal cruelty is ok but for all you bleeding hearts out there stop eating meat then because what they do to cows before you eat them is disgusting. They're bread to fucking die so most people can over eat. Same thing with chickens and pigs. These animals feel fear and feel loss when those amongst them get butchered. They feel terror knowing they're next and you have no problem with that.
So let's just agre that what Vick did was fucked but he did his time as set by our legal system and let me remind you there are celebrities who have killed and disabled people but no one calls foul on them whether they do time or not. So why does Vick have to say mother may I?

Vick killed dogs who weren't competing/winning. And shit used to be legal for decades, and was a misdemeanor crime up until two months before Vick was convicted on federal charges.

And I want to point out the bs lie that if it were a white dude people would still have a fit. Tim Allen spent two years in jail for selling drugs and no one made a peep. He's one of the stars of Toy Story and starred on a family show for years yet no says he's unfit to be a role model. This is absolutely a race issue. With all these white girls who do time for drunk driving and constantly in rehab no one says anything about them but this guy did his time. Don't we want a criminal justice that shows there's hope after prison? Or should we just start excuting everyone since there's no hope.
