hunting is legal and dogfighting isnt... but ill be damned if that's not one gruesome scene. makes you wonder why a mothafucka gotta get butt fuck threats for 2 years straight, while that snow mothafucka gets to run for office............
You fully know there is a system of value on animal life. You don't get the same sentence of killing a human to killing a dog. The same goes for dogs and roaches or mice. This wasn't one dog! It was many. Two years is not enough. There are people who are breaking the law for much less violent crimes and getting 2 years. It is an insult to the value of life that one gets to drawn and electrocute dogs and gets 2 year in the federal prison. This is same old same old by the justice system of not knowing how to give the appropriate sentence.
who says a dog's life is worth more than a dozen roaches you sprayed RAID on last night? where is that shit written? :smt038 now that I think about it, shit 2 years may have been too much, granted mothafuckas eat dogs and cats like we eat rice and beans, in some parts of the country/world.
I'm going to tell you what I told the people who complained about her shooting the moose From what I heard, Sarah was planning on eating that animal. A lot of people want to complain about killing an animal but they got no complaints when they go to Mcdonalds or burger king and order that cheeseburger. If Vick wants to eat the dogs, I'll be right there to watch and with a happy apology. This is different from drowning and electrocuting an animal because they didn't perform well and needing to eat the animal to survive. You got too much time on your hands if you take the time out of your busy day to drown, electrocute and kill animals for entertainment.
mothafuckas that hunt dont always eat what they kill they do that shit for sport half the time not one of them hillbilly shitbirds is spending time in county lockup, for playing target practice on deers with a Remington rifle
If you want go down that path, who says a human's life is worth more than a dozen dogs life? Where is that shit written? Now that I think about it tucker is right(I don't believe this but lets follow the path of no value for any particular life). mothafuckas eat Humans like we eat rice and beans, in some parts of the country/world. slippery path of devalue of life. :smt090
im pretty sure the value of human life has been written in religious books, among others dont play with me, mayne
The reason they are not is a value of life system in place. I'm still sticking to that value of life system but I think there should be a system of if you shoot the animal then you got to sell it for food or donate already cooked to people who are starving on the planet. That's for those people who are doing what you are saying. I'm sure people are protesting them as well. Peta is not friendly to those folks.
I didn't ask if the value of human life has been written. Don't play that game. You saw what I typed. Could you find me a section in religious books that state that a human's life is worth more than a dozen dogs' life? again where is that written? It doesn't matter if you can or not because at the end most people have a value of life system. People make up the idea that a human's life is worth more than animals. I agree with that. I also agree with the idea that a dog's life is worth more than roaches or mice. It doesn't matter if it is written or not. Paper and ink isn't worth anything unless people want it to be. You have to have a system of value for life. I mean can you honestly say you should serve the same sentence for killing a roach as a man kills a dog. Can you honestly say that a person who does nonviolent crimes deserves the same sentence as a person who drowns, electrocutes, kills dogs? It is troubling to see the court system giving shorter sentences for taking lives (rather they be human or not) over less violent crimes. You can barely be doing anything in a bank robbery and be sent to prison for life over killing dogs or even killing people!
Arch there is no higer sentence for killing people in your state. They have the death penalty. And if we're a country that truly believes in a system of laws and rules why can't we believe in rehibilitation? Michael Vick did his time, he was punished for his crime. He nearly lost everything and was lucky that an nfl team would take him back. Football is a hard sport and if he managed to work his way back up from being in prison for two years good for him. I always wondered what do people want "convicted" men to do after they've been in prison. Keep limiting their options and all they'll do is return to crime. Smdh.
Yes, we believe in it but it is not belief that tells the truth. It is action. The department of corrections is only an illusion. What it really is is a department of punishment. The probability that someone will return to prison is very high. Some where close to 70% or higher. It increases after 2 years. Look at T.I.!You may want to rethink that idea. Like I said before, I am all for him coming back but with the appropriate amount of prison time. There has to be a higher prison time for doing that kind of thing. This was not a first time thing. His lack of respect for life(human or dog) has grown over the years. This dog fight was rumored to be happening since 2001. 2 years to correct 5 to 6 years of that stuff. Some how I doubt that can be corrected in 2 years in prison. Again, I am fine with with him coming back like he did. I just don't feel the sentence fits the crime! I never said I wasn't for second chances. I am! I am just not in favor of short sentences for violent crimes.
I never said prison actually rehibilitated anyone I just that's what's its suppose to do supposedly. The 7 years is alleged and never proven so you can't use that as a reference point. It juts annoys me that people focus on this shit but dudes who do white collar crime never face the same kind of scrunity or condemnation. Those guys ruin thousands of lives but never get publically humiliated the way Vick. Like GZ said I hope that dude gets MVP and rubs it in everyone's face.
What I read was that his dad said he was doing it back in 2001. His dad told him to stop doing it. His dad nursed the dogs that got hurt from him doing it. I really do find it hard to believe that a man who he has a good relationship with is lying but it is what it is. Enter inmate #61727-054 Bernie Madoff! Madoff has overshadowed almost any bad guy in the 2000's. It is actually fair! Look at fromrussiawithlove. She doesn't even know who Vick is. Most russians probably don't know who vick is. I bet they know who madoff is before they know who Vick is. I would agree that those who ruin people's lives like madoff should get a fair punishment! The same goes for Mexi... I mean Vick. One could say vick is to you as lebron is to me only with out all of the dog stuff and ron mexico crap. Maybe both will be MVP(although I think wade is carrying the team.)
Bernie Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison for ruining lives. I think that's a fair treatment. To those who bring up Palin and her moose hunting (which is completely different, IMO), I say this: people who hunt, will eat what they hunt. People who fish, eat what they take out of the lake, ocean, whatever. If they just like to hunt and don't eat the animal, they bring the animal to a butcher who will sell the meat. The animal is NEVER left to decompose.
This is absolutely disgusting. I've been volunteering with the RSPCA for about two years now and I've heard some horror stories about animal torture and even been unlucky enough to see some of the animals that were brought in and had to be put down as a result of torture. It's absolutely heartbreaking, and it leaves you in tears. The majority of volunteers were white but there were plenty of black volunteers too and I can assure you that NOBODY put the life of an animal over the life of a human, but everyone accepted that there has to be a certain level of evil in someone to be able to hurt and torture defenseless animals like this. I get that this guy did his crime and did his time but its very difficult to forget something like this because it makes you question the mental state of the person. And it wasn't one mistake, the dude killed dozens of dogs. He needs to see counselling for that shit, he's started with torture of animals who knows what he wants to move onto next. I really don't think this is a race issue but rather a race of personal opinion regarding animal rights. I'm against hunting of all sorts personally, and think Palin killing the moose is awful as wel even if she's intending to eat it or not.
Yes, that's exactly it....there has to be some sort of evil in a person to condone/engage in/finance abuse of animals. Humans have a choice, animals do not. Just as I think there is evil in a man who rapes a woman, etc. We can go on and on with examples. The point is: he had a choice. He chose poorly. He did his time. He financed the dogs' rehabilitation (court-ordered), but his previous choices are always going to be at the forefront of peoples' minds. Just as they would had he been white.
The problem isn't that White people respect dogs, the (supposed) problem is that they (allegedly) don't respect Black people. There isn't a conflict of interests between feeling empathy for non-human animals and feeling empathy for fellow humans. Dogs deserve equal moral consideration for the same reason that Black people do, they have a capacity for happiness and suffering. As for the hypocrisy of Tucker Calson (I've never heard of him and I don't know why he hasn't criticized Palin for murdering moose), most human beings are moral schizophrenics. In Western culture, we eat pigs and cows but are shocked at the idea of eating a dog or a cat. In India, many of us eat pigs and chickens but are shocked at the idea of eating of a cow. What species a being belongs to and the fact that most humans are more intelligent than are most non-human animals is irrelevant, it has nothing to do with pleasure or pain.
