Says he's Nigerian, so English may not be his first language and there fore not so good. Come on now Tex, you've been here long enough to know not to be surprised if someone's post doesn't make sense, especially if they are from another country. Language and customs my dear.

Oh, you didn't get to use your "Official Forum Re-Director Status" on them, huh.

Lol, there's no official status for me to use. Besides, telling him anything probably wouldn't do any good. If so, he would've heeded the advice Espy gave the OP on page 1.

True that, especially since we continually get individuals who decide to come here just because...:smt102

I can help translate the lingo....

temac says , " it is cool to say the truth. I know you requested for a Jamaican thrill, but here I am, a Nigerian, and my name is Gabriel. I want you, and I am damn serious about it."

I hope have helped ease the stress/ burden of those that can't understand. I know many haven't traveled the Nigerian route to understand, or pick up its lingo. Although, you don't have to geographically make the trip, you can still physically make it, a good roll in the hay should take you all the way to Nigeria, and its every nook and cranny.

I think you are right, Tam. You read it quite right, and you so much a sweetheart. It gladdens my heart to read you always, you so perceptive.

The world has become so global now, I guess it helps to show enough perception so people can work through the burden of stereotypes.

And to all,if folks have questions, comfortable, and uncomfortable about Nigerians, they can ask me. They don't have to be politically correct to ask. I think it liberates one from the burden of stereotypes.

Thank you so much, Naija; you're a sweetheart yourself. :smt058 I do have a great appreciation for your insightfulness, & I look forward to reading your posts.

It is important to put out the effort to learn about other people, because stereotypes are definitely a huge burden.

I think the focus on being politically correct takes the focus off of honesty. Being free from political correctness allows us better access to the truth imo.

I know several evangelists through the church I belong to who travel to Nigeria on a somewhat regular basis for several works they have going on there. They train local evangelists & help to establish & situate churches & they help raise funds for the churches to function & have the ability to continue the work in their communities.
