english is always the tricky one, especially one that's writing intensive..for me anyway

unlike math or science, where you generally have one answer that's derived from a proven equation, the creative writing process in a language art allows for much more variation, which can get you a B for something good, or an A+ for something stellar and entertaining that gets shown to classes beyond your time.

Exactly. I usually like English writing classes, though. I'm good at writing general essays, but this class went deeper because it was an argument style class, so we learned a bunch of different ways to make, support, dispute arguments. Ther's a whole theory like that. Almost reminded me of my Philosophy Critical Thinking class(Got a D). Shit was hard as hell. I did hella good on our biggest essay. On top of that, my professor said my topic was hella interesting so I felt good about that.

 

Never heard of that. Must be a head-wrapper if you came away with that. Some classes you do avoid like the plague tho, unless you need it (calculus). That's not something you wing through after playing halo all night, unless your math is clean like that (or your teacher is butter)

 

Dude, the class was hard as shit. I tried to understand this stuff but couldn't. For the final, the only thing I wrote on it was my name. It was that hard and I was that clueless. Our professor said the lowest grade we could get on it was like 33 percent(I guess because he knew this was a hard class). Better than an F, though.

but for me personally, that was usually because I didn't do homework or study

when I did do homework, mid-chapter questions + studying, I was usually locked, cocked, ready to rock.

I'll have to look into that tho.. I did want to take philosophy for a while now, just to see how the classes are.

Real talk though one of the most interesting things I learned was by making things a law shows how we feel about certain people. By putting into law that women and men are equal or even blacks and whites shows how much we don't agree with it. If we did it wouldn't need to be a law in the first place.

 

How many times, though. It was worse than the time I went into a final blind, because I thought it was two days later so I went into class thinking it was review day. I at least came out with a C in that class.
