2010 - Highlights and Lowlights

Highs

- Met and reacquainted with some cool people


Lows

- An aunt died
- Another aunt is sick and dying
- My father has mild lung disease now
- Uncle just got out of the hospital
- I didn't accomplish what I wanted to
- My health needs improvement


Hopefully, I'll have a better list for this year....

 

Highlights
I got to see my grandmother after 13 years of not seeing her
I learned there is no such thing as the perfect partner
I let go of all those bad women
Quality time getting to know who I am again

Lowlights
A few car wrecks
my grandmother is dealing with severe arthritis
My father dealing with a similar condition
My brothers drug addiction
My job is dead end

 

are you still in jiu-jitsu?

if so, id say you could have some highlights from that...

maybe you gained rank or did something you didn't know how to do before

IB, looks like your year wasn't that good, I hope the 2011 will be better

 

Highs:

• had my first holiday in 8 years
• met the amazing geeky and smooth
• started a job that i enjoy

Low:

• grandmother passed away

i can't think of any lows except for my gran passing away when i was with geeky in la...in general my life is pretty amazing & i'm more than aware that i am truly blessed to be surrounded by my children, family & friends who love me as much as i love them

Im not gonna bother w thinking about lows.
Highs is most definitively meeting Tarshi and Smoothie. Two absolutely wonderful people I hope to keep in my life forever.

 

that's an absolute given wifey...putting my pennies away so i can pop back this year again....you're absolute 'friend for life' material....!!!

 

I'm saving pennies too... I plan to fly to the US as well this year!

Highlights:

*My older sister got married.
*I earned my Foster Parenting Certificate.
*My grandmother survived a stroke.


Lowlights:

*I was betrayed and lied to, resulting in heartache.
*My grandmother had a stroke, survived but will be in high care for the rest of her life.
*My younger sister/my bff moved to the other side of Aus.

But I would rather finish on a high note, I have so much planned for 2011 that I am blessed to have happening. I can't hardly wait.

I look forward to reading (on this site) about everyones journeys through this coming year.

 

I honestly don't know... I have a friend I met online who would host me in FL , but if I went to NY my girl would come with me so I'd have company, and I'd love to go to NY.
Otherwise I have friends in DC and New Mexico.
I have really no idea, I guess that I'd chose the place where I don't have to pay an hotel but also I'd like to be free to go around... don't know. We'll see if I have enough money for this summer.
It's kind of funny because last year this time I had moeny and was planning a trip to Cali to see a guy but it didn't happen. But if I go this year it's just to have fun and see some black eye candy! LOL

 

Interesting, I'm planning a US trip too! I was workin' on my budget tonight though, and I won't be able to stay as long as I wanted to unless I can find some people to put me up. Hotels are expensive :smt091

 

Yes, that's the problem. If u go with hotels you're gonna have to spend the double or more...

 

Highiights:

I survived another year in one piece.

My Son's accademic development improved by 100% he's now top set in Maths and his problem solving skills are fab.

I got a part time job.

I have been on some great dates.

I booked myself into a Princes trust course for self employment which starts at the end of Jan. I have some great Ideas and samples.



Lowlights:

I lied and cheated towards someone who didn't deserve it.

My Dad was Diagnosed with Lung Disease and given 2 years.

I pissed off a whole host of people generally, so many that this list would end up a phone book.
