With New Year upon us I thought it might be fun to talk about our hopes for the 2011.

In 2011 I hope to finish a couple of my novel ideas and move even closer to getting my Phd so that I might teach one day.

This year I will be less judgemental and pay more attention to others as well as make myself more available to be of service to people who need it.
I will also be more understanding because like I was told recently "everyone cries about being misunderstood but rarely take the time to understand others"

Nameste everyone I hope the New Year brings you all that you need and most of what you desire.

I am going to do more situps.

...there isn't much about me that I'm going to lie to myself and say I am going to change knowing I'm not. The biggest thing was smoking........I kicked da habit. Now in 2011 I'm just going to more of me than I was in 2010.

I don't make resolutions, as I never stick to them. LOL.

However, there are a few things that will NEED to happen for me in the new year.

    - lose the weight I need to and exercise in hopes that diabetes will stay away.

    - finalize my divorce so that I can get financial aid when I go back to school and get my Master's degree and get the hell out of my boring ass job.

    - look more into meditation, as it seems to have helped me focus somewhat, the little of it I did already this year.

Otherwise, I'm just going to continue to be the work-in-progress I am already. :smt023

I havent done new years resolutions since... uh... I dont think I ever did.

But, Ima drink wine until Monday, that is for sure.. then all alcohol is OUT!!!! for at least 6 weeks. If I can hack it, maybe caffeine too but I doubt it seriously. Im married to my caffeine.
I am switching from hypertrophy to defining as of next week so my whole diet will change. So I take that as a whole big change that just happened to occur in the new year.
Otherwise, Im always on a path of self renewing and improvement.. or at least try to. LOL.

Get my 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo

Start training in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu & Muay Thai

    Head back to college

Interact with 500 women to finally get over my nervousness with them.

That's very commendable fam. I start aikido next week and if I can shed the 40 lbs I want to shed I'm hoping to do a Mudder competition. I really have a deep respect for dedicated martial artists.

I hope you get over being nervous with women because once you find the right one you're gonna look back and laugh at this moment fam.

If you need something to listen to while you meditate EXcuses Be Gone by Wayne Dyer is awesome. It totally helps me to get focused.
If you want the audio I can email it to you. Just let me know.

Will just continue to evolve, adapt, and transform into a higher state of being physically, mentally, emotionally, and "privately spirtually" until I'm no longer recognizable from my present self.

Like Bookie, I stopped making them cause I never keep them.

I've put a plan in motion to get my health in order and I'd like to lose more weight. I have a big wedding to attend in April and I want to look my best...

Second thing is, I want to try and be more positive. It's hard when so much is negative.

I hear you on that one - belated congrats!

On December 31st, 2009, I took a drag of my last cigarette. Started the New Year of 2010 smoke-free and been that way ever since. Guess that would make today my one-year mark as a non-smoker.....and my intent for 2011 will be to keep that going (taking it one year at a time).

Best of luck to everyone with their respective goals and resolutions...

There's nothing wrong with it. But when I don't go for the 40 wanks for several days, I feel a lot more energized...albeit by a small bit. Plus it's a means of control. So, I've basically took care of some distractions to cause me to jerk the workload and now...maintaining some sense of complacency.
