What was your first interracial experience

Technically, everyone in my town calls themselves white. but....





...he's definitely pretty dark to be white. lol Though, he could also be Native American...it's really hard to tell with the people in that town. Regardless, he was (and still is, actually) a little cutie! I say little because he's about 5'5 now lol He never outgrew me.

 

When I was in my early twenties I dated a guy who was half Swedish and half Cameroonian... His family was in the entertainment industry and his brothers were famous dancers on TV and stuff and he was the only one that had a "normal" job.... We never slept w each other. We dated for 6 month but between him being a single parent to a toddler and his famous family - its was just a bit much for me so I faded out.. We kept in contact for many years though. He was really sweet and made a big impression on me. I was just not ready for anything serious in any shape or form w a toddler and all....

 

Well, I was going to say 1999. But, in kindergarten I had a little mixed hispanic/white boyfriend.

 

LOL! I know what you mean. Now that I think about it, my first black crush looked like a monkey. UGLY. But us women are dumb when we fall in love, right? lol

My senior year of High school in 96. I"ve been friends with this white girl for over a year now, & another friend have been trying to hook us both. We both have no intentions, the next day came, I had a pizza, she took a pepperoni (I think) I just leaned over & gave her a kiss & she kissed back. 7 months later I was dating another white girl. Since then most of the women who are attracted to me are either white or Hispanic.

 

I have different stories for each situation.

I was a late bloomer, so I started late in the dating game.

At 14, I met a few boys over the phone and I went to the mall and skating rink to meet them. One of them supposedly became my "boyfriend", but yet I used to talk to his friend for hours and we used to write each other letters (in the mail). I had more of a relationship with the friend.

Then at 15, I had a real date with a guy who I used to see at a lot of spots I used to go to. We spent Grad night together....

Then later, I had my first real boyfriend, kiss, sexual partner etc...

They were all Black....

 

i've gotten that line before too from sistas, without even declaring my preferences

a coworker wanted to get me to start speaking to her sister, but asked me if I liked black women first. She told me that they (the women where I work) always thought I was just into WW. I'm not sure what exactly tipped them off, but I had told her that I was interested in all colors. Saying that still gets you funny looks, because they'd rather the good ones (the ones doing something positive with their life) stay with their own (because after all, a good man is hard to find..just like what the book says), but it's not as bad as saying 'I don't like BW, i just like WW'

I don't get the double standard at all. I don't understand getting mad at someone because they don't want to date me or people who look like me. Fine then go find someone who does like your look.

we're supposed to be one big 'black' community, strengthening the unit after hundreds of years of atrocity and oppression. On one hand I get the point, because I know we've been systematically targeted for destruction. On the other, I really can't help who I like. On average, I'm more attracted to ww than bw plain and simple. When I dream of a girl, 99 percent of the times she's white.

I do not want to force myself to like and love a BW, just because she's the same skin color.

 

LW can be of any race so that doesnt really say much....

I had a play gf who was white named April back in daycare (I was around 3) I guess that was my first experience with a girl of a different color.

 

it means a lot when the general perception of Latina is J-lo. I get what he's saying, since many of the Latinas around here resemble her more than they do Rosa Parks or Kate Beckinsale.

ive always dated interracially, i went to school across from the local hospital with the doctors kids so my school was a mixture of shades and thats how i dated, i just date whoever i find attractive. last few years thou its been pretty much just black men that turn my head

 

My first interracial experience was when I went to the gynecologist with my girlfriend and the doctor saw my GF's hairy bush and proceeded to hike up her short skirt to show us *her* hairy bush, and...

My first Interracial experience was when I was in the third grade and I got a kiss from a classmate than was cute as hell. She told me that she thought I was cute and she wanted to give me a kiss and tell me as well.

Well after that, I never looked back. LOL.
