Letting the homeless stick around a warm fire place instead of being left out in the frigid cold.

A guy asked me for change for $5, I gave him a $10 bill instead.

A co-worker brought in McDonald's for everyone but one particular co-worker told her we was going stunt on them, took her Starbucks spent $30 on goodies and paraded it in front of the others.

That was you? Who would've thunk it?

    Thank you!

I usually try and give my recyclable bottles to a homeless person, but the last time I had some, I didn't see any, so I went to redeem them myself. $4 worth....

To many people are expecting handouts in my experience. I think some people have forgotten the difference between kind acts and handouts....people aren't willing to the monotonous hard work, they have that sense entitlement and are waiting for someone to hand them that big break while they wait on the sideline doing nothing.

Therefore I'm choosy with whom I help, and I prefer it to be anonymous. I was at a restaurant a couple weeks ago, behind sat a young cat with his girlfriend. He was telling her about his day, he was on the grind trying to find a job or some opportunity to get to the next level, I knew someone offering an awesome opportunity in his trade, so I made call right then and there to my contact, told waitress to get his info & made the connection.

I agree with you, Fresh. It blows my mind how many people there are who think they can sit on their butts & do nothing while thinking that the world owes them something. People who are willing to work hard tend to appreciate any blessings they receive. I'm also picky about who I help...I prefer to help those willing to help themselves. I also like it to be anonymous when it can be. I don't feel comfortable when people want to give me credit for what is really a blessing from God imo.

Which has become digustingly littered by careless section 8 tenants, the pictures don't do justice how filthy the park has become...

But I took the time out with only 2 hours of sleep in 20 degree weather to clean it up

A young punk walked past and asked "Isn't that the city's job" and I replied back "naw, it's the neighborhood's"...He just laughed at me and kept it moving.

An much older gentlemen who was driving by stopped and gave me my props "I'm glad I'm not the only one who cares around here, I do the same thing way down the street"

Volunteered at my Son's school today. Had a good ass time and left with a wonderful feeling. Some of the children grew quite fond of my quickly which was uber wierd.

Two teachers per class, one teacher seemed lrelieved that I was their to help out but the other I oberserved...just a miserable overstressed bitch who doesn't need to be in this profession. I could do a much better job.

This young woman stopped by the front desk last night asking if we had any rooms available, she needs a place to stay because she's homeless. Front desk staff collectively said I'm sooooo sorry but nothing i can do for you with a long face. The women just sat out in the lobby looking distraught and the front desk started getting agitated by her presense so I know they was about to call security to kick her out so I decided to help her out.

Took her to the side and told her I'll help you out but pleeeeease don't take advantage of my kindness that's all I ask. Just tell me what you need and I'll try my best to accommodate you, I hooked this girl up, place to stay, tons of food, shower, and tons of toiletrees for the road. Hope she makes it back on her feet.

I agree with you tdk. I have to admit I would not have done that but nice to see the world hasn't dragged everyone down.
