Does Anyone else HATE when Blacks Say You Have Self Hate for Dating IR?

I could see why he is hesitant when it comes down to dating black women, but him making all other black women suffer because the immature actions of a few is still childish as far as Im concerned. He could of taken the high road and chose to mess with black women that honestly liked him for him, but instead he generalized etc.

Depends where you're from, in the south black women smile just like everybody else does because of southern hospitality etc. It could also be argued that women of all races can have a chip on their sholder because they are women in a mans world. I get you, but my personal view on life in general is you shouldnt let the majority suffer because the minority were assholes.

 

A LARGE i mean LARGE portion of the population have some african and european background ( is my case ).

and yes a large portion of the poor population have a african background too.
but is not so easy to find a '' pure '' african. a realy dark person.

so mixing up races is not a big issue for brasilians, its how the country was born

and the racism is in all planet! but even a white family can be easily open to a black boyfriend.
my last girlfriend was blond ( real blond ) and the other two sisters have married black guys too.

i have experienced racism with a girlfriend family just one time and the family was lebanese (arab) descent.

 

is there large number of Lebanese there? It is very intriguing how lots of Lebanese ended up in south America. Shaikra, Selma Haiek both south American but Lebanese decent and I have also came across south American folks (from Chile and Panama with Lebanes back ground). Do you know how these ppl ended up there from your history or social science class?

what is the reason? they were french colony at one point, if I am not mistaken. I have seen them in bunchs in French speaking countries but Brazil is portuegese speaking, unless they migrated there by being a merchant and so on.

I can say there's a large number of lebanese, italians, german, polish and etc etc etc

the story from brasil is very similar to the history from U.S in this part, i mean people from all over the world came to brasil to try a better life and stuff.

for me the diference is only a small group from all this population still not open to mix with the rest of the population in brazil.

when a say mix, i say in ALL aspects of life. i have friend of all kinds of backgrounds. asian, european, arab all kinds. and its not a big deal hang out or date someone from a other race.

the segregation here is not about race, is more about money

 

Idk its crazy I mean Brasil has to be one of the few countries that has alot of major diasporas. Brasil has the largest Japanese population outside of Japan, Brasil also has the largest Italian population outside of Italy,the biggest African diaspora outside Africa, the biggest Arab diaspora outside of the Arab region etc. and a couple other huge diaporas. I do know that most of Brasils European roots are German, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. There is a sizeable Polish population also.

 

Mr. Snipes doesn't even date WW or American women period! I remember he said this once. Also he stated when he was young he was teased due to his darker complexion. I grew up in the 80's and remember all the light skin/dark skin hate going on back then like it was yesterday.

I know about Europeans and Japanese but large Lebanese surprised me. I have seen lots of Lebanese in other countries but having large concentration in south America is interesting. What is the PoP of Lebanon like 4 mil? it is a small pop country but most of their descedents are all over the world. Isnt US General Abizaid a Lebanese decent (I think he was in charge of Iraq war or something like that a few years ago).

I mean generally speaking the south is way friendlier as whole in comparison to the rest of the US. You can find bitter women or nice women anywhere, but as a whole I will say the south overall has way nicer "open" people than other regions of the states. Also though you do live in Atlanta, Atlanta isnt the traditional south, in the sense that its a big city. The south is known for more small to medium size cities. With big cities comes big city attitude (generally).

Yea its kinda funny how a countries biggest population of descendents might in the future end up cominf from a country other than the place of origin.

Im watching diary of a angry black men right now and watched some other documentaries and talk shows about IR and about single black woman in america... and i can say now, this American BW are the most annoying people on earth. whata fuck is that?

 

That you believe such scenario's happen shows how much stock you put in this whole self-hate argument. I set no conditions on one choosing to not be with black women, whether it's out of “innate” attraction for non black women, or a decision to stop being with them; the latter does not mean it has to be out of self hate. In fact, the scenario you present is usually rhetoric from black women that don't want to acknowledge that many black men, or a particular black man (an athlete in this case), if given the ability (socioeconomic or otherwise) will choose a non black woman for whatever reason.

Saying that the reason for this initial attraction is self-hate is another issue and to be only with black women because of lack of opportunity must also be a rub for BW, but to think black men start valuing or devaluing black women (above BW) once they have money and that they decided “because I have status I need a woman to fit it” sounds ridiculous, most likely that athlete or brother without money was attracted to non Black women from the start....if a man ever need proper motivation to do something, getting a woman or a type of a woman can certainly do that.

It's 2010, dudes with guts can pull WW, Black athletes don't need money to pull white woman, in H.S and especially in college, and most Black athletes are with and wife Black women. So out of all the black athletes with white woman, how many do you think made the decision once they had money and thought they were “above” black woman, that they would no longer date them? Very few I think, a black man who dates mostly black woman because he has lesser opportunity for other women, but is attracted to them more and once given the opportunity decides not to date black women is just keeping it real, it doesn't necessarily mean he hates being black.
