    lol

if they took them for advertising purposes or whatever, i'm sure they dont mind.

many people would find that to be great...a compliment of sorts

if a photographer said he'd like to use me on websites, i wouldn't mind.

    ego-stroke like a mothafucka

Well......they don't mind them on facebook, so I assume...

...on second thought. Given the HUGE amount of traffic that comes to this board maybe you are right!

Look sis/dude. My clients know that their images will be posted to advertise my work. Its in every single agreement I have them sign. Not everyone that hires me allows me to show their work. I do a look of work for wives who want image for their husband and you won't find those anywhere, not even on my web site. And for those I adjust accordingly. (that means I charge them more)

Lets pretend that anything I take with my camera I OWN
Lets pretend that only when a client purchases the rights from me do they have control over their images.
Lets pretend that I've been doing this on an amateur/semi-professional level for the past two or three years

...and lets pretend just for shits and giggles, just for a small amount of time that I know what I'm doing.

Actually to you and PO...I swear I didn't know there was a part. To be honest I generally post everything in "conversation"

...and I reply by pressing "new posts"

    that's pretty much it.

    remember that saying

if you like what you do, it's never 'work'

    :)

i can see that being a fun job, where you can really use your artistic side

that would make a great hobby too...can imagine that's very relaxing
