I swear I have never seen so many fat people (and I don't mean mildy fluffy) I mean just out right fat....in my entire life.

    EVER!

I have also never seen to many damn pick up trucks EVER! I mean EVER! Gawd I hate this place. The only-thing that makes it bearable is the little blonde something something that asked me out to lunch.

SHOCKER! I did not accept but damn it felt good...I mean who doesn't like flattery?

You're in the fattest region (South) of the fattest country in the western world.

According to this list, Arkansas is the sixth fattest state in America.

Either you have been in the military too long or you haven't been to a lot of different walmarts to talk about fat people so much.

Talk about fat people "so much"? How many threads have I created talking about fat people?

I just came to the realization that I haven't even been in a grocery store in over 10 years. I went to buy some hamburger then I wanted to busy some pork chops. It took me almost 15 min to figure out that all the meat is in one section.

...and the cheese and milk are in the same section

...and paper plates and toilet paper are all in the same section.

...and you would fucking believe just how man different brands of cough medicine there are.

What I was saying was that I'd think you would be use to seeing them if you visited walmarts or been in a very populated area. It would be like saying the grass is green and coming on the forum to make a comment about it being green.

    Ahhh...

    ..yeah. Still don't get it.

I just moved here from the D.C area, Montgomery County to be more specific......I have seen big women, I never stated that I had not. I've just never seen them in such a high concentration.

...I'm not sure how that connected with me being in the Army.

Little Rock Ar can hardly be considered "very populated"

There are 2,889,450 people in the entire state of Arkansas. 183,133 in Little Rock. Conversely there are more than 1 million people in Montgomery Country MD alone, over 500,000 in D.C. 636,919 in Baltimore.

You think Little Rock, AR is very populated?

I remember when I was visiting my cousins in Memphis and I went into a local Walgreens. I saw FOUR, not fat, but morbidly obese people. I couldn't believe what I was seeing cause it was new to me. I mean I see overweight people all the time, but not like these people. My cousin is an MD and she talks about this all the time cause a lot of them are her patients. So being that they're next door neighbor states, it doesn't surprise me.

American itself is fat. I know when I have come back to the states the moment I land in the airport, the size change drastically...but I have never seen so many in one place.

    Person after person holy cow.

    That is true....

That's how I felt in that Walgreens. They could hardly walk. They looked like Gastric Bypass candidates and walking heart attacks.

I'm not saying you haven't. We all have.:smt043 I lived in a particularly populated area so I have seen them in high concentrations. That's why I wouldn't make that comment. It is sadly the norm. lmao:smt009 It is spread out for you in your area in maryland. It isn't concentrated in one city like say miami with a population of 433136(not our biggest city in florida). We are coming from two different states of mind and well states.
I assumed that the military keeps people fit from all of that exercise. God knows they (get this)reject people for being too fat. I kid you not about that. If you are in the military, you'd probably encounter less fat people than out of the military.

You just compared a county to a city. That isn't how you compare them. What was the population in your city in Maryland? My city's population is 33000(rounded). It is no where near that 181,133 population. I think little rock is the 118 most populated city in the usa. I couldn't find any city close to that in your county(I really don't know your county better than you so maybe you can find a city close to that number.). I can't even find that number in my county.

I included D.C. and Baltimore which are Cities...

A good number of Cities between Baltimore and D.C. are really not whole cities and are incorporates of counties.

...I added counties to give scope. AR has just under three million people in the entire state, and one country in little Maryland has 1/3 of that.....I mentioned the country to give scope as to the numbers. I get you are saying now.

Waiting for the PC police to comment. Since fat is off limits.

This reminds me of the scene from the movie The Hurt Locker, where a bomb specialist has returned from the military and goes to the store. Here's a scene from where he's in the cereal section. Great movie, if you haven't seen it!

I've never been to Arkansas, but I think you'd freak out if you were in Southern WV and Eastern Kentucky. My gym teacher in high school had to use a cane to walk and it was only because her bones couldn't support the weight of her fat.

How the hell she became a PE teacher I'll never fucking know. She was already over 300 lbs when my mom was in high school, and when I came along she'd packed on at least 100 more.
