What dictates personal preference

Anyway, I imagine for the same reason we're attracted to all the other shapes, sizes, and colors we like to surround ourselves with. It's what is beautiful to us and makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I've also read that thing before about "exotic equals erotic", but if we're attracted to someone just because they're different looking - well, everybody is different looking....

What occurred to Imanuela is quite common. She will need to take it upon herself to find the organisation in whatever part of the world she resides in to take disciplinary action.

Coincidently, if she is working for a small company, which is family operated, she has a better chance of looking work elsewhere. Small companies generally keep things “within the family” in terms of upper management and high pay scale.

Such organisations were designed for immigrants so they will not be taken advantage of and/or discriminated for one reason or another.

Bear in mind you have a right to those privileges as well even though you are an American living in the United States. Providing taxes are deducted from your check you qualify.

I read somewhere that different colors have vibrations and people react to those vibrations differently. Maybe that's why we're drawn to different eye, hair, and skin colors. Or something.

 

Why ask why? What matters is whether you like the individual person and not just that person's color.

I believe he's asking about why does what attracts us to an individual person before we get to know who the individual person is, in order to decide whether or not we like it, attract us to them. I don't think there's something wrong with asking why, some people are just inquisitive like that.
