INTERESTING AND NEWER THREADS. No offense but some of these threads are kind of "eh". But people here are GREAT.

An overall honest survey of individual and gender-based perspectives would go a long way in boosting the quality of discourse. People just laying their psychological cards on the table with being too self-referential, because no one needs to know intimate details about your personal life.

If we could have someone under a mod to keep stuff in order. Ive seen in other forums they have a setup where mods are assigned certain sections of a forum to look out for. Ex: Mod1 watches over section 1, Mod2 watches section 2, Mod 2 and 3 watch section 3, and so on and so forth. Maybe if there were people under mods who were assigned specific sections to look over then there wouldnt be as much trolling and bs. Ex: poster1 watches the conversations between white women and black men section, poster2 watches over the attraction between white women and black men section, etc etc. Webmaster>Mods>officers (only name i can think of)>everybody else.

    - An interview process would be nice...j/k

    - Less idiots/trolls/lames and more interesting people.

    - Better grammar and spelling

    - Like Unique, I wish the reps were automatically listed by the posters who gave them and I wish we had private messages as well.

I think there should be another section added on the forum that serves as a chopping block area. I hate how people have to REALLY cross the line to get kicked out. On top of that it makes no sense because some people get kicked off within 8 posts and others say offensive shit over and over again and get second chances and are still on here. Or, they dont get kicked off until after they've made like 100+ something odd posts. I wish we could give the regular posters more power on the board by allowing them (which includes me) to be able to go to this chopping block section and post a poster up that we find offensive and vote them off. I understand that the webmaster wants to be fair to everyone, but being fair to the trolls is in a sense being unfair to the posters who come on the board and dont start bs.

Fuck the diplomatic bs because its obviously not working. I want it to be more survivor style on here. If a person is offensive I think we as a group should be allowed to vote them off (with a majority vote). I also believe we should be able to vote for who want to be moderator and every so often we vote again to either keep them or get someone else.

What I'd like to see big improvement here on the forum...

UPGRADE!!! This forum's getting old and older. Maybe we can donate the money to webmaster to upgrade. You can never know if there's going to be a hack here.

The problem with this is that you run the risk of creating an environment where people don't feel they can speak their mind freely. They worry that they'll piss off someone who could then influence others to get rid of them. We currently have a really good group of regular posters, but there have been some in the past who did a really efficient job of running people off the forum without a vote, and some people didn't say anything because they didn't want to be next in line for the unpleasantness. I realize this is just an online forum, but you'd be surprised the lengths some people will go to when they have an axe to grind Kush. If the system you suggest had been in place when I first joined, I'm not sure I'd still be here.

I am new here, but every forum I have been on has private messaging. I don't know why this feature is absent, but it would be nice to PM someone. Many people on here don't have instant messengers or Facebook, MySpace accounts and they may prefer to talk on PM since it is a little easier. I love this forum and I haven't even been on here a week yet! I will post interesting threads and interesting commentary. :smt025

They used to have PM here, but they had some issues so it was disabled. I think the majority of members have at least one off forum option for contact.

I understand where you're coming from, but a person can speak their miind without being offensive. Hell if you know it might be offensive to some, make a disclaimer saying "no offense to the people on here" or "im not trying to offend anybody". I can disagree with somebody but still respect them and their opinion if they state it in a respectful manner. To be more fair with my idea, you wouldnt be able to just vote yes or no. You would have to post a a reason to why you want them on here or off of here and to back up your reasons you could quote old post of theirs. After everybody votes, the webmaster could review it and go from there.

Idk about others on here, but I have my own life outside of the board. Having said that, when I do come on the board I dont want to see bs and have an unpleasant experience because of some immature adults who dont know how to communicate with others they agree/disagree with. Yes, this may be the internet, but still there are real people behind these computer screens. Manners can and should be used on the internet, just like they should be used in real life.

I agree completely. However I think it's a sad fact of life that to be a member here will likely always mean having to endure rude people, racists, and trolls from time to time. I can't remember a time when we didn't have at least one of the afore mentioned active on the forum. It does diminish the experience for me as well, but if I don't like it I can always just leave.

Let me also add that some members like the trolls, or at least like the spirited discussions they provoke. I've gotten criticism on more than one occasion for banning a blatant troll too quickly. So it's very much damned if you do, and damned if you don't. There is simply no way to make everyone happy.

Unfortunately in life it seems like too many things now end a person up into this kind of predicament.

I agree with this post especially the bolded statements.

Most people do have a life outside of the forum and this forum only plays a small part in their "real" lives. However, there have been, in the past, posters that pretty much make this forum their lives. They get into peoples' business on and off the forum and when things don't go their way, they start a campaign of hate and rudeness on here against that person.

It's happened in the past and has driven many a regular, good poster off the board.

I understand why you are suggesting the things you are, but unfortunately, it would end up in disaster because as they say, the few spoil it for the many. This forum is best left how it is today, in my opinion.

People should be forced to actually post in more thread. Im tired of people coming on here and just posting pics and never posting anything else on here. If you're that desperate for a ego boost then
