Funny that you mention writing and watching people for inspiration. I use to draw (I still do but not as much I use to because of work & home stuff always popping off) and I think that plays a part in why I'm able to read people. I was always watching everthing and picking up details to help me draw and details about people and things I would see would just automatically click in my head after awhile. And as I got older I just was able to pick up on details and basically read people because of this.

It's interesting how it works; I guess it's part of the creative process. I'm usually pretty good at reading people. I think I have a knack for seeing things in people others don't typically see. To me it's an instict that not many people have & they can't understand it in those who do. For some reason there's a drive in me to understand others & to get who they are & where they're coming from. I think that's why I'm good at reading people.

I get what you're saying because I tend to cut people too much slack at times, but that wasn't what I was referring to exactly. I'm talking about an understanding of what makes that person tick & what makes them who they are underneath the surface. It's something that facinates me.

I understood what you were implying my point was, doing that can also lead to you "being to understanding" because if you know what makes them tick and why they are the way they are it makes it more than possible to cut slack etc etc in the long haul. Because you "get them", you know what I mean?

Yeah I gotcha, it makes sense when it comes to dealing with certain people. With some of 'em though that understanding makes you a little more guarded. I'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt & more than one chance but there's always that point of no return with some folks. It's sad because people don't always appreciate that understanding & they end up alienating themselves from the people that actually care about them. Then they have no clue what happened. It's sad.
