Back when I first moved here to the Northwest in the early 90's , before Grunge and before this fool put out "Baby Got Back" everybody and I do mean EVERYBODY even fools that normally didn't listen to Rap/Hip Hop music was literally playing Mix Lot songs because he was a local artist.

that's what i figured, because you can't even say prayer in class anymore.

When I was in the 8th grade, I 'think' we still said silent prayers in some classes, and all that tho. I remember one of my Jewish teachers and how he used to have us say prayer before class. There was no beef then. Now you have atheists and all of these other upstarts, that don't believe in god and are becoming 'offended,' by having to spend time praying.

    PC bullshit

I miss Fun House the best kids show ever, they played games to earn time in the funhouse..... with real prizes like Game boy and a trip to a theme park, every single ticket in the funhouse was a prize, I wanted to be on Funhouse sooooo baddd.

Here's a clip from 92 with the lovely host Pat Sharp and the gorgeous twins Melanie and Martina.

Funhouse it's a whole lotta fun with prizes to be won, its a whole wacky show where anything will gooo.

The whole issue about god in school don't bother me anymore. In high school, we had to salute the flag a few times and I just wouldn't say under god.

HA!!!! I remeber in 7th grade in homeroom when they would do the morning announcements over the intercom, they would pray and we would all count how many times the lady would say god cause she would say that shit like I say hella. She'd be like "dear god, bless this day god, and give us the wisdom god, the strength god...." and we'd all be laughing at the shit. Hell, even our teacher laughed a few times.

i never minded...i grew up in a god-fearing home. But, people are realizing the impact that praying has on people, that don't necessarily believe in a higher power. Shit, one of my managers removed bibles people had lying around at work. I never thought shit was that serious...

if someone wants to read the gospel when they have free time, have at it. Kuran, Bible, as long as the mothafucka isnt trying to backstab me or play dirty politics, i dont care.

now that I think about it, we have around 2 or 3 old ladies (that seriously need to retire), that go around calling everyone sinners and acting like they're holy. I really hate those attitudes. Really.

she started talking about her church and what not...then she asked me what church I go to.

I responded I havent been then she started going in about you need to go to church ..yada yada yada

then I stated " Im jewish"

then the air was sucked out the room...her eyes got bucked wide opened. then she asked "how did that happened"

I responded " i was kidnapped and brained washed"

got a few black Hebrew Israelite-types at work. that opened my eyes, coming from a pro-christian, sheltered home. once you get out in the world, you see stuff your parents kept you away from.
