He was asking if you are a black man or are you a woman, not if you are a black woman....

And your name doesn't exactly identify your sex as well as a name like Britty or Athena, so...

And isn't there only one human species?

I voted today. And for some reason I thought a lot about the points made in this thread, that it wasn't too long ago when people who looked like us couldn't vote and had to fight so hard to do so. It actually made me get a bit misty eyed as I was leaving the voting site...

But I rejoice, because it is 2010 and thank God for those that came before us and paved the way for our right to vote and take part in our civic duty as American Citizens. May we continue to make things better for the generations to come, for all people(s). :)

Only thing I can decide on is prop 23 but I don't know much more about it than what is listed on the ballot listing. Guess I should research it more. Some, I can't decide and one I don't give a shit about.

Well another couple of years of republican rule in Florida.

I see why people move out of Florida.

I voted today. Unfortunately, though, Texas is still stuck with Rick Perry for another term. :(

What is wrong with perry? Texas is doing fine from what I have seen. White was good pick to as well but he had to prove that perry was bad while having a better economy than most states.

Half the people that wanted to pass it were teenagers and 20 something year olds that thought they could legally get away with having a pound sitting on their coffee table.

I guess I shoulda voted yes because I hear that it would've created hella jobs.

I went to sleep & the rep's had the house, I'm afraid to turn on the news to find out the rest, even though my state worked out for me.

With all these republicans running the house and senate it is safe to say that we just set ourselves back. The largest set back in years. I'm talking more years than I have been alive..
