Hey just speaking from life experience and tons of documentaries.

 

Maybe it wasnt because of you being nice. Maybe you dont even remember what you did to that person. I dont think a woman can be so stupid to dump a man because of "being nice". Stop acting like a victim to get sympathy

 

Why would you say that Im acting like a victim?? You of all people should know everything about my life and almost everyone who was in it. I know your memory can not possibly be that bad!!

It was nice to meet some of you here but Im leaving this site.
I dont want this forum to become my personal battlefield with a certain person.
I met some interesting people that I wish would live closer so we could go for a coffee.

Why dont you stay?? I personally liked your thread on Qualities. A battlefield is a place where you do harm to your enemy. This forum does not have to be that unless you choose to make it that way. Its all up to you!!! Noone can control what you say or your actions but YOU!!! If you have issues with someone then maybe you should give them a call and talk about it, but this forum is definitely NOT a battlefield!!!

You know, I think Tam is right, a similar thing applies to men too. I can't tell you how often I see my guy friends put up with these whingy, bitchy, unreasonable girlfriends all because they're deluded by how "hot" they are. And it's no wonder those women keep acting that way, because men keep putting up with it!

IDK dude, but a starting point for her seems to be about QUALITIES, hence this thread. Hope ya both find what ever it is you're seeking.

 

I think people hate easy. We define how worth while something is by the pain we had to go through to get it and if things are easy than it feels like anyone can have it and we're not special. Kind of like a chick who gives it up on the first or second date or a man who says "I love you" to often and too soon. Well unless you're drop dead beautiful then you can a pass lol.

 

Same thing can be said for women with dudes who are indifferent to them or disregard their feelings. As long as its not public or humilating most girls will put up with it. I got one friend whose a good looking radiologist, I couldn't dream of pulling the shit he does without getting slapped across the face but girls are lined up around the corner for this dude.
It really seems like get money or settle or as I've said before get the hell out of NY because love don't exist in big cities. Too many distractions.

I always look at LA in this light. I know I shouldn't, but I'm not the first to say it and even had friends who were transplants who moved here and noticed and ones who adapted to that way of thinking (not wanting to settle down). I mean a lot of men don't really want to settle down anyway, but when you have options, why would you want to?

I know that some of my NY friends who are in relationships, it always looks like they have a foot out the door so-to-speak. Like they're keeping that back door open.

I'm not walking around a bitter Betty, cause I still have a ray of hope, but I also look at things realistically and honestly (yet some view it as negative).

 

Hmm... I think I must take back my last quote that I never fail. Maybe today I did fail, maybe not. Self evaluation and a couple of you in this forum, leads me to believe that maybe I have not been paying as much attention to details as I believed I was. Wow!!! A wakeup call for me no doubt!! I'm right there with you buddy. We can be bitter buddies lol. I don't know what it is about the human condition that won't allow happiness. Maybe its a western thing but its sad to think when we were kids the idea of finding one person to share our lives with was ideal but now not so much. Wtf happened lol
