Depends on what burbs nowadays. Alot of people have this misconception that because you live in the burbs, its safe, maybe a few decades ago that was the case, but not today. If you live in a suburb right outside the city it can be just as dangerous as the city. Also nowadays you have alot of "thugs" moving from the cities to the burbs, causing more violence and making crime rates go up. The only burbs that tend to be safe are the ones that are further out then the outeredge of the city.

that's the damn truth tho...i know West Philadelphia is straight gutter, yet it borders on Darby, which is a suburb. Man, them nucs from West Philly started moving into Darby, and the white people started moving farther out. I was thinking about moving to there or Chester, and my coworkers were saying they were just as bad as living in the hood.

Hopefully it wont get up to a 400+ like it did few years back. Shit Chicago has like 458 o far this year. Back in the 90s the murder rate was in the 900s.
I mean part of me believes murder is bad regardless of number but the other part of thinks that out of 3 mill + people a couple hundred isnt as bad as you would think it could be capable of getting.
