    Happy Halloween to everyone.

I thought I'd start this thread in honor of the "holiday" of Halloween that's coming up on Sunday.

Yesterday, my boss asked me what I was dressing up as for Halloween. I said, I'm not dressing up. I haven't dressed up in years. He asked me why not. I said, I don't know, I haven't been invited to any Halloween parties and I just don't dress up.

He said, what about when you take your daughter trick-or-treating. I said, I don't dress up for that.

I've never gotten into Halloween. I know there are tons of people out there that love this holiday and call it their favorite, but for me, besides the candy, I'm just like, eh. LOL.

Who is dressing up this year? What are you going as? Is Halloween your favorite holiday? If so, why?

Feel free to share pictures of you in your costume!

Ok, so if the guy doesn't call me (very possible, but I'm not gonna trip if he doesn't), I've been invited to a night out but it's not about Halloween :( so I don't wanna go there dressed up and be the only one, lol
I'll just wait and see :)

I'm studying for a test on Halloween. I don't want any muthafuckas comin' up to my door. I'm cuttin' all the lights off. But of course, there is always "that fucking kid" that comes up to the dark house, with all the lights off, and no decorations and rings the doorbell, which is what my house is gonna be. Shit.

I hope everyone had a great time on Halloween!

My little one and I were out for 2 1/2 hours in 45 degree weather trick-or-treating. By the end, I couldn't feel my fingers. LOL.

    This was her costume:

    She's a cutie!

My 18 year old son dressed up as Luigi from Super Mario Bros. It was kinda interesting to see a black Luigi with dreadlocks. lol When he left to go to his halloween party he left the porch light on so I got mobbed by a group of trick-or-treaters but I had no candy. A little boy dressed as a vampire called me an asshole & the kids went on their merry way. That was the extent of my holiday excitement. lol

    Cute picture, Bookie.

That little shit. If their parents didn't check them, I would've. Little bastard. I'da had some words for his ass. Wish a muthafucka would say some shit like that to my mom while I was around. I wouldn't hit him but show him a little something called "getting bag jacked". Show him what kids start doing on Halloween when they hit middle school. He wants his candy back, he gotta bring a parent with him and an apology. Treat him like he's still in school.

But maybe I'm being too harsh.

Damn, I'm getting more pissed about this than you probably were. :p

A few kids came up to my house. I guess turning off all my lights, including the porch light, and having no decorations doesn't exactly tell a kid that I'm not joining in the festivities. Apparently, it means ring the doorbell and then knock 4 times. Wasn't too bad though.

I'm pretty sure his mother got on him about it. Of course she was yelling at him in spanish so I'm not sure.

I'm surprised more didn't stop at the house. Even with no lights I usually have a few, but other than the group that came when my son left the light on I didn't have any this year.

Thanks! Yes, she got a lot of candy. So much so that we're all going to share her candy. LOL. She's okay with that, though, and shared with all of us last night. Awwwwwww!!!

    Thank you!

I would have been so taken aback by that comment from that kid, that I probably would have just stared at him. And then 5 minutes later, my brain would have come up with a comeback. LOL.
    Thanks, BA!!

And thanks for the rep, Russia!! We had a great time yesterday.

    You're welcome!

His comment kinda threw me at first, but then I had to laugh at how serious trick-or-treaters are about getting their candy. lol
